I’ve been a chritz fan for a little after mystic messenger came out, however my review has literally nothing to do with that. Honest opinion, I love the game. It’s super fun, it can be slightly confusing because there’s a lot to do, but I like the fact you chill on the app for longer than just the Chatroom. I also like how the community can get together and vibe! The game is new and is originally in Korean, so obviously there’s gonna be a couple grammar mistakes. The ads for the game, inside the game is kinda annoying but if you can wait five seconds it’s fine. I was enjoying playing freely but today Teo sent me a picture, and I was unable to see it. I either had to subscribe or pay aura batteries (with the aura battery price getting higher each time). The game is great but it’s still way to buggy for me to trust my credit card info on. On top of that $0.64 a day could completely demolish my credit (I’m a high school student with out a job all I have is $0.64 cents to my name😭) another thing is the game will literally just crash. I’m pretty patient so the crash doesn’t bother me that much just thought someone should know.

This is a great game, at first I was hesitant to download it because I am very busy and I don’t really come across good games, but I gave it a try and I’m obsessed, one thing though are the prices. The prices are crazy, but I understand ya gotta make money somehow, but still. The game is great without spending money but man it’s very tempting for what they have for you to buy. Whether you have money or not this game is very good, especially if you are into MysticMessenger (like myself), but a few other things are the English translation, I don’t know about the other languages when being translated but the English translation of not that good, at first it was fine but by day 9 or 8 it started to get bad, some sentences weren’t making sense, because I’m a patient person and I understand that it can be hard to translate perfectly I’m fine with it, I’m saying this because I’m sure Cheritz team wants the best for their game, and the players play time. If you are someone who gets annoyed by that kind of thing then I don’t know if you should, but if not then please give this a try! This is a very good game that helps me with my loneliness lol. I love Cheritz games and I’m happy with this!

Underwhelming and Overwhelmed

To be entirely honest, I was bummed out by this app. I was super excited to see what Cheritz had come up with after MysMes, and I feel ... let down? The overall story and character (there's only Teo) is kinda bland, and while 200 days of chatting is impressive, there's nothing really making me come back. There's no apparent way to translate energy/emotions into batteries, there are ads every five seconds unless you purchase an expensive monthly subscription, there are repetitive features that just don't connect with the story at all (what are the creatures and incubator for? why are there planets to discover? why am i having to send a single through a different, fake planet anyways?), the social features indicate an unhappy player base, and the UI just feels overloaded. One screen is in a pixel style while the immediate next screen is more sleek and modern, next to yet another pixel style. At least everything in MysMes made sense together! I expected a solid app from Cheritz and the story section of the app does appear to be that way, even if the story is underwhelming. But I didn't expect to be overwhelmed with unnecessary and glitchy side features, quests, and ads. This app suffers heavily from overdevelopment (and a lack of QA). I'm going to keep trying for a while but I don't expect to change this any time soon.

Hi all I just wanna start off by saying from what I had heard I was worried I wouldn’t be able to play at all unless you paid the subscription so I am happy to see that is that is bonus and an option that gives you more access to other things. I have played Mystic Messenger, the game before this one and it is honestly very sad to see a lot of people quick to rate this game so low because it is not as quick in comparison to the 11 day format like in Mystic Messenger. But it was advertised as having 200 days of content so its understandable it’s not going to be quick to jump into action, it’s more of a slow day to day chats you get to have with Teo, (the love interest) (so just as a reminder for those who are quick to uninstall: “if you’re impatient just say so) but that being said I’m just saying that your biggest mistake would be failing to give this game a chance. I was a big fan of mystic messenger and I am happy to say I continue to enjoy the games Cheritz has made especially now that I have added The Ssum to the list! I am very proud of the devs who have worked and continue to work, Thank you Cheritz! :)

I was really looking forward to this app, but I’m not sure I like it very much. For one, I don’t like the waiting. “Teo is breathing” “Teo is away for a moment” “Teo is getting up”… It’s very annoying. I always get distracted when that happens and end up with unfinished chats. Secondly, I hate that there isn’t a separate pass to see Teo’s private tweets. There should be. It would give the game something to look forward to. Also the photos. It’s super annoying that we can’t see them all. And third, I don’t understand the point of mixing or getting the emotions. The game was extremely good at explaining what to do, but I’m still so confused about that specifically. There are many things about this game I like: the eggs, the emotions study, hidden achievements, etc. However, it’s boring. I’m really really glad it’s not a copy of Mystic Messenger, but MM is definitely better in multiple ways. I know many people don’t agree with me but still. The waiting is the most annoying part. This game needs to get better at sending chat notifications. I know it’s new and needs some improvement, but I’m willing to stick around for the 200 days. I just hope something improves. Oh and, why do we have to pay to change our daily routine?? It’s stupid.

I’ve been playing for almost 40 days now. I can say I do like Teo, I like the story lines, and I like how his personality and looks change every seasonal planet. What I don’t like is the in-app purchases. The subscription price is absolutely insane. I decided to pay $10 for the Typing Expert License to make him text faster (because I refuse to pay $20-25 a MONTH) but I STILL have to wait 15-40+ minutes between texts in a single chat room sometimes. I was under the impression this would help me finish chats faster so that I won’t forget about them and finish them in time. Nope, it was just a waste of money. I’m completely taken out of the game as I keep missing and forgetting to complete chats because Teo goes off to do something for 20+ minutes. I am not waiting for him when I have things to do outside of the game! I wasted $10 plus more buying a few batteries to make up for unfinished chats. It's still a cute and fun game but only for people who are able to constantly check their phones to make sure they reply to Teo on time. I don’t understand this format when MM was the first kind of game like this and was done perfectly! I get The Ssum to be more realistic but it should be an option to turn the “real-ness” off so that people can finish chats in time and stay immersed with Teo :/

The game is okay. I was expecting more since I enjoyed mystic messenger so much. Some features are overwhelming and don’t seem related to the main game, and I don’t like the ads popping up almost every time I leave a screen. I wish it were more like MM where you can use money if you’d like, but still can get the full experience without it. It’d also be cool if you could convert energy into batteries. I like Teo, the conversations with him are good, I’d like it if they could be more frequent, but that’s okay if its not. I am dealing with an annoying glitch right now. On day 4 i made it through the wake up chat, but then I didn’t get the day 4 breakfast chat until today. I got that one and the lunch one, and now I’ve got the glitch again where I won’t get the day 4 dinner chat until tomorrow evening. I do like the concept of the game, but it needs some improvements still. Update: the day 4 glitch seems to have been fixed so that’s good. Some of the features don’t seem overwhelming anymore. I’m annoyed that I can’t change my time thing without paying, but oh well, I’ll keep it how it is for now. I’ve grown a bit attached to Teo. The game wasn’t what I was expecting, but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty great.

Ok game but still lacking

The game was ok but still lacked some elements, what is the point of the in game matchup app when the MC and the male characters can’t even meet? What does it even mean that they’re in different times and spaces? The MC from another country or she not human? It’s the only kind of romance this game lacks is the reality of in person meeting, I’d love to see the 2 characters connect in person too not just through a phone screen. It’s just really sad that the MC and the guys couldn’t meet in person cuz ig the in game app won’t even allow for some reason, they’re only stuck with their phones. Kind of a downgrade from mystic messenger honestly, 2 of the guys are too weak to face people and defending themselves due to one being raised in a rich family with an annoying greedy mom while the other is stuck between but mostly stuck with his ex and a psycho doctor with a bunch of immature employees on his half brother’s island while his mom goes back to the social ladder. While all the MC can do is sit and watch, and feel regret and remorse or having to try so hard to tolerate it. I hope they can meet in person, there should be no reason to prevent them from meeting. How else are they gonna move on with their relationship? T-T
