The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is a breath of fresh air for fans of the franchise and open-world RPGs alike. It moves away from the turn-based combat of previous titles and embraces a massive, vibrant world that you can explore freely. The combat is snappy, responsive, and visually spectacular, making every encounter feel meaningful.
What’s truly impressive is how it captures the scale of the anime. Flying through the air or diving underwater feels seamless. It’s clear that a lot of care went into making the world of Britannia feel alive and reactive. This isn't just a mobile game; it's a full-scale adventure that sets a new bar for what anime games can be on the platform.
Vast Open World Exploration
High-Quality 3D Graphics
Real-Time Action Combat
Original Storyline
Use character abilities to interact with the environment. For example, use ice skills to freeze water paths or wind skills to reach high cliffs.
Switch between team members mid-combo to trigger 'Origin Links.' These special attacks deal massive damage and have unique animations based on the duo.
Yes, Meliodas and the other Sins are available to join your party as you progress through the story.
It’s been such a long wait, but it’s here at last! After all the build up over these past years I can say without a doubt it was worth it!!👍🏻 A few things to note though. The Steam and PS5 versions of the games will more than likely give you a more quality experience. I’d say this version is best suited for an iPad with a controller, not using touch controls. i’m using an iPad A16 model, and it runs perfectly fine. It may struggle on older models though. I started the game on Steam a week before during the early release, and than linked my Steam account to this one using Google. The cross progression works perfectly! I can play any amount of time on one platform and pick up exactly where I left off on the other without skipping a beat! There are many reports of the game not functioning well on PC and iOS and iPadOS. But I have yet to experience any of these issues. I have an iMac Pro 2019 running windows 11 using boot camp. I’m experiencing no issues at all using that to play on Steam as I said previously no issues with my iPad either. The game itself is super fun and engaging. If you love the characters from the manga and anime you’ll love this game. I can totally see myself playing it for years to come! Just be careful not to get sucked in to the gotcha mechanics, they can be quite addicting as many of us can agree on lol!
I’ve played the game originally on Steam and loved it so I was very excited when I heard that the game was also being released on mobile. But one of the issues I immediately faced was the cross-progression aspect, you are unable to link your non-Gmail email account to your Steam account for some reason, though it isn’t much of an issue so I just connected it to my Gmail. The main issue for me though is the how small the UI is in this game, it feels, looks, and plays tiny. I play on an IPhone 15 pro and it’s difficult at times to read the descriptions of items and press on certain buttons when playing. For instance, the pick up button for grabbing items is genuinely so minuscule compared to the rest of the other UI. I’ve never had an issue like this in any other Gacha game and was surprised for this to be an issue here. I hope the development team aims to implement a feature that lets players enlarge their UI or shift it around, similar to how another certain Gacha game company does as well. Thank you for your time.
Encountered a ton of bugs none were necessarily game breaking usually just inconvenient until my character died and won’t revive. I’m now unable to play the game. Every time I log on my character immediately dies and I unable to access the menu or any other functions. No restart or deleting and redownloading the game has fixed this. Forums say to disconnect and reconnect while spamming the event tab which won’t work. As for the inconvenient bugs, usually the camera getting stuck while trying to move your viewpoint, unable to press on your abilities requiring you to immediately switch to a separate character, stuck in rocks requiring reset and so on. As for the quests; not well thought out. Storyline is ridiculous. The quests themselves are usually just running around more than fighting. Mechanic of being able to pick up and move things or restore things is fun but becomes stupid because it’s on a 6 use charge which you have to recharge but they give you tons of locations to recharge it from so why even have the recharge function. Just stupid. I still have hope as grand cross was a success but as I can no longer play the game, what’s the point
Honestly this is the best anime game to come to mobile in a very long time. Would be sad if it got shut down due to cry babies. This is the only game that's actually free 2 play and has a huge open world with a beautiful storyline and the combat is amazing. I'm level 15 now almost on arc 4 story. Only thing you guys should add is a que for dungeons, joining other people's parties it's hard to find people where you are in the story. Having a system of match making for a team would make this game the best mobile game
Why on earth would you start the game up, which is a seven deadly sins game. BUT YOU CAN ONLY SUMMON 3 OF THE ACTUAL SINS CURRENTLY. YOU CAN ONLY SUMMON MELIODAS, KING, AND DIANE! What about the others!? Are Ban, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor chopped liver? I genuinely was only excited for this game for ban, and he’s not even here. It should be called the 3 deadly sins currently, As that’s all we have. It really should’ve been released with all 7 of them considering the fact the release date got pushed back. I was excited for it to come out in February, then it got pushed back to march. Now it’s here and not even all the sins are there. It feels like yall wanted to focus on the side characters more than you know, the ones the show is named after. There’s so many side characters and weapons but again, not even half the sins. How are you going to release a 7 Deadly Sins game but not have all the sins on launch? That seems counter productive? AND THE CRASHING. I’m playing on an IPhone 12, not too old. And it crashes every few minutes. Horribly. I can’t even finish quests.
I play on the iPhone 17 Max Pro and the bugs are absolutely horrible. I don’t know if other people on other devices is having a good time but for me the bugs are too much you can’t even look left and right when you’re running because the controls would freeze in mid battle, especially against boss your skills will just stop working and it’s very frustrating. when you’re looking for rare items, they don’t appear on screen so you have to walk into the find it. When you use tracking to find an item on the way, if you pick up the log the tracking stops, then you have to go through to find the item again to start tracking again and then exit all those screens to track the item you want and you can’t pick anything up on the way or the tracking will stop. and I feel like I can go on for hours about all the bugs. I know the game just came out after a few patches if they fix them, I’ll change my rating until then they’re making a great game trash. These companies need to stop pushing things out just for money complete the game first
My ipad pro is seven years old, so that’s probably why, but it crashed and glitched a lot. Every time I tried to enhance weapons it crashed. Every time I tried to talk to the soldier in the quest Shortcut, it crashed. Occasionally, the music cuts out,the cutscenes pause, or it crashes and skips the cutscene, (that happens a lot) and some times I can’t move or attack. Still fun, but it won’t tell me the controls for my keyboard accessory either, so I have to tap. Plus, after I claimed the check-in reward, and it said I claimed it, I got nothing. I hadn’t realized that it was in the mail. I am so saddened that this game is just not working. If you have a newer device, it should be fine, that’s how it was with my sister’s iPad, but she has crashes sometimes too.
As an experienced mobile player, I consider control customization essential for high-level performance. I use a four-finger setup, and expanded customization options would greatly improve the overall experience. The game feels smooth and well designed at launch however, the current control flexibility does not yet match the standard set by other competitive titles. More advanced layout options would better support players who rely on precise and customizable controls. Overall, this is a strong start. Improving control customization would significantly enhance gameplay and better accommodate competitive players.
