Our Expert Score

74/100

The Last Dirt Jumper is a physics-based bike game that captures the simple joy of launching a bicycle off a ramp. It’s a 'just one more try' kind of experience where you're constantly fighting against gravity and your own timing to land the perfect backflip. The controls are minimalist, which works well on mobile, but the physics are robust enough to make every landing feel earned.

The environments are surprisingly atmospheric, offering a sense of loneliness and focus that suits the title. While it doesn't have the complexity of a massive open-world bike sim, it excels as a high-score chaser. Watching your character tumble after a mistimed rotation is as much a part of the fun as the successful tricks. It’s a great, slightly gritty arcade title that respects the player's skill.

Great concept, needs some minor refinements

As a mountain biker myself, I really like the idea of this game. It’s fun, simple, and a welcome break from ad-riddled games. However, it could use a few minor changes: - Steering sensitivity should be increased/drift angle tuned down a bit (difficult to turn at high speeds through very twisty track) - Tutorial should be a little more comprehensive (introduce a few more trick combinations) Other than that, I’m really happy with it, and I consider it $4 well spent. Glad I keep up on my PinkBike news and saw this!

Fun but small tweaks needed

For developers. After you crash, sometimes it’ll put you in a terrible restart sport. For example, you crash on a jump and it’ll restart you too close in front of the jump again and with not enough speed to clear it. I’ve also been reset in front of a rock so when I start again, I just smash right into the rock. I understand why it starts you from the beginning but man, it would be nice if you could pick up on the last level.
