The Detonator is an explosive take on the classic mining genre. It swaps the slow, methodical digging of games like Motherload for a high-octane 'blast first, ask questions later' approach. The game is all about the thrill of the explosion—you use over 50 types of specialized bombs to tear through the earth's crust, uncovering precious gems and rare metals as you go. There’s a wonderful sense of scale as you realize just how deep you can go, journeying from the surface all the way toward the heart of the Earth.

The progression loop is classic but effective: blast, mine, sell, and upgrade. The real fun comes from the bomb customization; experimenting with different blast patterns and power levels to maximize your mineral haul is genuinely engaging. The graphics are colorful and the explosions are punchy, giving you that 'world-shaking' feedback the developers promised. While it can feel a bit grindy in the deeper sections, the regular updates and the addition of leaderboards keep the competitive fire alive. This was actually really good

(Spoiler!) So I’m always skeptical about these types of reviews thinking that’s there bots so hopefully this looks real enough lol. This game was actually pretty entertaining I had a lot of fun playing it and yes there was ads but they were really spaced out so it didn’t interfere with the gameplay to much. I will say that the only “problem” would be that it’s a little short. You get to about a quarter of the way in and it’s says that this part in still in development so you get get pretty bummed out by that but other than that it’s really good definitely better than most mobile games out there.

The game overall is pretty fun, but I’ve experienced more bugs in this than any other mobile games I’ve played in my life. First off, once you collect the saw you can only use it for one run every 30 minutes. This alone is annoying but the fact that once it runs out and you try to change your bomb back to the original, all your buttons are gone. I usually have to restart the app 3-5 times for the buttons to even appear. Sometimes they don’t even appear and I have to wait 30 minutes to play the game again. Also when you destroy the first mine in a big area, I absolutely HATE how some parts that you’ve already destroyed just decide to come back just to get in your way of making it back down. Also don’t understand the max levels. Is there a way to remove the max to some things? Like for energy the game will give me the notification to upgrade it even when it’s maxed out. Overall the game is decent, but the bugs ruin any chance it has at being fun.

What a blast I’m stuck playing this all the time and it’s super fun especially getting to prestige and reset the whole world. I just can’t discover the third and fourth types of the bomb deployed :/ the two that I have are maxed out but looks like there’s room to upgrade more but it doesn’t allow the upgrade :( I’m hoping the upgrade notification is a bug and I’m not just missing a really big part of the game! I hope you are up and running, cause if you were to invest in any of your apps it should be this one :)

Surprisingly good

I’ve seen the other reviews and some old gameplay and I think maybe the game was pretty bad when it originally dropped. But since I’ve been playing which is today and yesterday it’s been great. Idk if it’s my adhd or somen but this game is really fun. The only bad part is it needs more content but other than that I love playing this. Even the ads aren’t that bad since ur getting a 95% gameplay and 5% ad ratio. I really hope the developers go far with this game.

Great game but frequent ads

The game is just as advertised. The first 20 minutes I didn’t get. Single ad. I was asked to leave a rating but I said “later” then immediately got an ad. As it is when I sell my resources I use the 2x or 3x for an ad so getting frequent ads throughout my gameplay makes it less enjoyable. I wouldn’t mind an ad every 5 minutes or so but I get an ad after about 2 resets back to base. Ads are quick and skipable after a few seconds overall it’s fun and passes the time

All adds and pay walls

First off it’s a simple game and could be more fun but, it’s another one of those were they force you to watch a add every time you turn around. Then they give you the option to pay to disable adds. I don’t mind watching adds for rewards or paying for a game once I see I like it and would rather get the rewards without having to watch all the adds. But when a game forces me to watch this many adds and hides everything hind a paywall I just delete the game. So if they ever make it so you are not forced to watch adds and can just chose to do so then sure would be great little game to easy time.

Really glitchy and not finished

The game can be satisfying at times but after a while its just like you beat the game and theres nothing else to do. The mines are not endless and the amount of bugs are insane. My bombs wont activate and will make me go back to the top and if i have my bombs deactivated the will still act as if i used one if i tap the screen. Its an alright game, could be cooler if i could do something else other than mine like upgrade my “ball” and fight other players. Its a senseless game for a senseless outcome of a ending.

Too many ads

I’m not one to write reviews as much but I felt I needed to with this game. Saw the game pop up on instagram so I thought I’d give it a try. Start of the game felt pretty good with the tutorial but once that was done you’re bombarded with ads every time you run out of bombs. Once you recall back to your base an ad always pops up. The ads in the upgrade shop are fine but when it comes to constantly being fed down your throat when you go back to base is just too much.
