-Switched to Metal graphics API for long-term game compatibility
Tasty Planet is a delightful and strangely satisfying arcade experience that taps into the primal joy of consumption. You start as a tiny ball of grey goo—an accidental laboratory creation designed to clean bathrooms—but your hunger quickly outgrows its original purpose. The gameplay loop is incredibly simple yet addictive: eat objects smaller than you to grow larger, allowing you to eventually consume things that once towered over you. It’s a progression system that feels visceral and rewarding.
What makes the game truly stand out is its sense of scale. Moving from eating dust bunnies and ladybugs to eventually devouring entire buildings, cities, and eventually planets provides a constant sense of 'leveling up' that never gets old. The art style is charmingly quirky, and the lighthearted tone makes the act of consuming the entire universe feel like a fun afternoon activity rather than a cosmic horror story. It’s a perfect casual game that offers enough variety in its levels and 'consumed' entities to keep you coming back for just one more bite.
Over 150 unique levels
Massive scale progression
Unlockable characters like sharks and bees
Split-screen cooperative mode on iPad
Focus on clearing out clusters of smaller items first to reach the growth threshold for larger objects quickly. Avoid larger predators until you have surpassed them in size.
Players navigate various environments, from laboratory tables to city streets, using simple touch or tilt controls to guide the goo towards food.
To grow your character by eating everything smaller than you until you are large enough to complete the level.
Finished every level! This game has good detail. I like this game more than anything! Even Golf Orbit! And golf orbit is also awesome! But this is way way way way way better. But there is one problem. The problem is that there are no levels where you can eat atoms. So maybe you can update that in the future! :) (PS I just want to tell you that I got all of the versions because of how good it is!)
I was watching my favorite content creator, and I saw that he could do cheats in option so I wanted to try but I saw a video about cheats only being on steam. so if that could be on mobile or just on the app, that would be cool.
My son and I enjoy playing the Tasty Planet games very much! The other games have two-player modes. It would be great if this one did too!
Dreadfully repetitive - every level is essentially the same, and the novelty wears off quickly. The game also has a stunted sense of progress. Every level feels pointless because by the next level you’ll be reset to barely above the size you were at the start of the current level. The final level and ending are the only interesting parts, but you have to play through more than an hour of mind numbing gameplay to get there.
What if you made one single lever after eating space where it is all the levels so it has to zoom out many times Eather way 5/5
I wish you can add a level creator so I can create my own level plz add it or I will cry 😭😭😭
I am shocked of how many space levels you should add more
I like this game. My favorite levels were the last ones. But I wish you guys could add more than he implodes and the universe comes again. It should just be more interesting...
