Suika Game Planet takes the viral 'Watermelon Game' formula and launches it into orbit. Players must drop various celestial-themed fruits and planets into a container, merging identical items to evolve them into larger bodies. The twist here is the low-gravity physics and circular containers that add a new layer of strategy to the classic merging gameplay. With cute space-themed aesthetics and addictive 'just one more try' mechanics, it’s a perfect physics-puzzler for all ages.

Our Expert Score

75/100

Suika Game Planet is a fun, albeit derivative, take on the 'Suika' trend that swept the internet. The space theme is a charming touch, and seeing the fruits turn into planets and eventually stars is a clever way to rebrand the experience. The physics are the real star of the show; they're just bouncy enough to be unpredictable without feeling unfair. It’s incredibly satisfying when a small planet rolls perfectly into another to trigger a massive chain reaction of merges.

However, the game could benefit from more depth. Once you've reached the 'Sun' a few times, there isn't much to do other than chase high scores. Some users have noted that the physics can occasionally get a bit 'glitchy,' with items being launched out of the container during a merge. Despite these small flaws, it's a great 'coffee break' game. It's easy to pick up, impossible to master, and visually delightful. If you enjoyed the original Suika Game, this space-themed variation is worth a download for the change of scenery alone.
