Fix some bugs and improve app stability
This version of Sudoku is exactly what a digital puzzle should be: clean, fast, and feature-rich. As an expert in digital board games, I appreciate the minimalist approach that eliminates distractions and focuses entirely on the logic. The inclusion of the 'Smart Note' system is a game-changer for high-difficulty puzzles, as it automates the tedious parts of the game without solving the puzzle for you.
The difficulty levels are perfectly calibrated, ranging from 'Gentle' for beginners to 'Grandmaster' for the truly dedicated. The daily challenges provide a consistent reason to return, and the subtle haptic feedback on correct entries makes every solve feel rewarding. It’s the definitive version of the classic game for anyone who wants a pure, uninterrupted Sudoku experience on their mobile device.

Tap the 'Pencil' icon to enter draft mode. This allows you to place multiple possible numbers in a single square. As you fill in the rest of the board, your notes will automatically update to reflect the new logic!
If you're new, start with 'Easy' to learn the 'Hidden Single' technique. Experts should head straight to 'Expert' mode, where 'X-Wing' and 'Swordfish' patterns are required for success.
No, this version of Sudoku is designed to be a premium, uninterrupted experience for the user.
Hard to see the notes and the number you add need bolder colors or a larger grid. Other than that it’s pretty straight forward.
There was one level that occurred when I was playing this game. It was impossible to do! There was one sudoku box left and it had to be nine. I obviously put the correct number but it was wrong. So I questioned myself. I put nine in the whole box and not one mine was correct. Also this impossible level was on easy. I’m not sure if it occurs on any other difficulties. Other than that this game challenged me to learn how to play and solve sudoku puzzles.
The interface is clunky. It does not delete superfluous notes when the same number is added to a row/column/box that cancels it out. It does not allow a number lock to insert the same number (or number note) in different boxes without retouching the number button. It would be nice if there were different buttons for numbers and note numbers so that it would not be necessary to toggle between them.
after having this app on my phone for years, one day it started crashing as soon as it opened. deleting and redownloading only temporarily fixed it, and deleted all my experience points. im just going to keep it off my phone this time. was nice while it lasted x
**** What I like **** - UI is nice and snappy - Distraction free - Clean color theme. **** What I don’t like **** - The fact it charges you weekly for ads free version. **** Must improvements **** - Disable filled numbers VS putting counter on the numbers - Actually the counter starts at 0 for some reason - Auto clear affected notations, once a number is filled - Restart the current board option **** Conclusion **** I would keep it if it was one time payment, as UX will get better eventually. But, with this greedy strategy, will definitely uninstall it. There are plenty good ones out there.
Fun app! But I don’t want to see ads for Kamala Harris. She’s awful and will not use this app if I have to see her!!
