Stretch Guy

Stretch Guy is a physics-based puzzler that manages to be both incredibly satisfying and slightly nerve-wracking. The core mechanic involves stretching a character's limbs to climb walls and bypass obstacles, but the catch is his elasticity has a limit. As an expert in the physics-puzzle subgenre, I was particularly impressed by the visual and haptic feedback; as you pull the character further, his face changes from a confident grin to a strained, red-faced grimace, and the vibration on the phone intensifies until he eventually snaps.

The level design is clever, introducing environmental hazards like rotating saws and laser beams that require precise timing and limb placement. While the early levels are a breeze, the difficulty ramps up significantly as you have to balance multiple limbs under high tension while avoiding instant-death traps. It’s a great 'flow state' game that rewards slow, deliberate movement rather than frantic swiping. My only major gripe is the frequency of ads between stages, but for a free-to-play title, the mechanical polish makes it worth the intermittent breaks.
