Our Expert Score

81/100

Stealth Master is one of those 'just one more level' games. The core loop is very simple: sneak into a building, take out guards without being seen, and get to the exit. But the way it introduces new gadgets and character skills keeps it from getting stale.

The rogue-like elements (choosing a perk after every few levels) really make the experience. One run you might focus on long-range kunai, and the next you might be an invisible ghost with a katana. It’s fast, the controls are responsive, and the 'boss' levels provide a genuine challenge that requires more than just button mashing.

Everything I’ve Ever Wanted From A (Modern) Mobile Game
Tue Jun 11 2024 mike aballo

With more and more games and developers taking a misleading approach to advertising their games with simple characters, while their real game isn’t even near what the ad is promoting. But the games that do make these games are usually money hungry, ad infested, and can be unenjoyable after a while. This game isn’t any of that. I’ve wanted to find the perfect mobile game for so long, and to be more specific the new modern-type games that have simple design and enjoyable gameplay, but have been in the gameplay area. While I stated earlier that the new-generation simple games have barely enjoyable gameplay (such as core gameplay, elements, difficulty, and mechanics), this game is different. In the start, you gain many new gameplay elements, new mechanics are introduced, and an increase in difficulty can be particularly noticeable, with the addition of new traps, enemies, levels, and the amount of enemies there are in each level. Due to the amount of features and increasing difficulty, it makes the game fun, fresh, and exciting. To summarize, this game is everything I’ve ever wanted for a time-passing/road trip/generally-playing-for-fun game. Thank you developers for putting effort and creativity into this game. While it may be simple on the surface, it’s very enjoyable. Five stars.

I truly love the game I like how you added events to the game it really makes the game more wide in terms of experiences and exploring. I like the gameplay and the characters having different abilities. Buuuuut problems, we have been waiting for a while and by a while i mean years, where is pvp at we’ve been waiting for years unless yall cancelled which would make sense I’m very confused how you can make these events and stuff but you haven’t made PvP yet. How to get characters is very annoying, because you just walked through like a 5 to 10 minute contract just to get nothing but tokens which doesn’t matter if all of your other characters are max level, it can really make people unmotivated to continue the game because of constant repetitiveness just to not the thing they want. I don’t know if it’s because of ads or if it’s because you want to make it more challenging or sweaty to get the characters but it’s kind of getting annoying. Aside from that characters like venom, alien, imposter, burger thing or whatever, and minion is amazing because you know you can actually grind for it and there’s a guaranteed chance of having it. Also the events are amazing what I would suggest tho is making the levels of the zombies not so long because your like going through 20+ levels to get to the boss every single time and also most of the levels are survival….literally the longest mini levels almost every time it gets pretty boring after a while. Even tho these are many flaws I see I still give it a four star because I just love it that much.

So like, I get that you need the ads to keep the game running. I really do. But can we make them *not* crash the game with every single ad, causing me to have to reload the entire game? That would be nice. Just saying. If not for that, I’d give it a solid 4.5 out of 5. It’s got simple yet engaging gameplay, could use some more customization options, we finally got a *menu* which is nice. I assume the game will be even better once the shop gets implemented. Provided it doesn’t solely exist to force in app purchases on us and actually has a use that involves in game currency as well as monetization and things to sell. And for the record, this is just a fair warning: *If* you are going to create in app purchases in your store system, *please*, for the *love* of god make them things that are *worth* the price you set. There are so many mobile games out there that struggle because they charge a good $100 for a single set of equipment, and I find that utterly ridiculous as a model. More people will buy the things you want to sell in your game if you make the rewards actually enticing for the given price. Remember, you can set your prices to whatever you want, but it costs you *next to nothing* to offer *more* for each price set, while also churning out a bigger profit by attracting more buyers. Just a tip in case you go the route of in app purchases, make em’ worth the buck.

Fun game, but has bugs, and too many forced ads
Fri Oct 25 2024 I a n a .

Overall fun game, the ads are exactly how the game is, which is a fun sneaky game of being a ninja. The characters have different abilities and weapons which makes the game fun. Love the gameplay and the cute graphics. However there are a few issues - 1. The vents have a bug which makes it impossible to progress or finish the level after it bugs. Hopefully this can be fixed. I have to reload the game every time that happens. 2. The forced ads after every floor are very annoying. I don’t mind watching an ad to get something extra in the game but cmon. Drop the forced ads every floor. Make them after every overall mission. I would still watch the ones that are bonuses, to open chests and get extra currency for example. 3. I also don’t understand why if you buy a weapon in the zombie levels, it says it lasts for the whole contract, like in the normal elevator missions, but it only lasts for the floor. 4. When you upgrade the characters, you unlock their special weapons, but after the initial unlock, you still have to watch an ad to use this weapon. Not sure what the point of upgrading the characters is in this case. You should be able to use it permanently. If I want to use the katanas, I’ll just stick with the ninja. These issues should be fixed to better balance the game and fix bugs. If they’re fixed it would be a great game. Until then, I find the dependency on ads for weapons and between every level pretty annoying and disruptive to the overall gameplay. Better to play in airplane mode.

My report
Wed Mar 27 2024 Good game, but needs a tweak

The game very fun is fun overall, top notch. I love how the characters have different abilities and you acquire them over time. The hard part concerning the characters is that once you’ve upgraded them and obtained certain abilities, you can’t look back and see what those abilities are. The game is extremely challenging and has a good amount of variety due to the events and missions. The only problem that I would say there is (other than the previous one mentioned) is that there are too many ads. They are on almost every floor and are often forced. I LIKE games where I can watch ads for rewards and would be happy to see more of that in this game. But the forced ads are a real bummer when I want to do anything thing like time my win or hurry before an event ends. Ending on a good note: the game has wonderful graphics and effects, it also is very enjoyable for those who want a challenge. Not just the guards or the bosses, but also the security cams and lasers pose great threats and take careful timing to evade. Also, Special emphasis on the first thing I mentioned. I LOVE the uniqueness of each character’s abilities. Great game, totally recommended for those who want a challenge (which you will need to work your way up to of course) and for anyone who likes to maneuver with their finger.

My Review (From an expert)

So, I am doing a series where I look at 27 poorly made games and this one is part of it. Please note I do NOT know the content of a game until I actually play it and if it isn’t poorly made I will remove it completely from the pack I have. Anyways, I have a software that blocks ads and shows when I would get an ad, and there are too many ads. It seems you have a big amount of players, and a big amount of money too. You see, with the amount of players you can make a lot of money with this many ads: And you know what, you can look at certain people who make games and how they make them, and there is a person I know who makes games, and he made a higher quality game in 2 weeks with far more updates. Now some people have different amounts of skill but 2 weeks is very short amount of time for a game with that type of quality and with less ads, and he got a good amount of money, making about 185 USD in a day in the first few weeks then facing the ups and downs. But he put a little amount ads and still made about 185 USD each day. With this amount of ads, you just make too much money compared to the effort, and there are barely any updates. The grammar and description is also very misleading although I will say the gameplay isn’t misleading which is a plus. For me, I found the game an average amount fun but the ads also make it less fun. Adding gameplay, ad amount, and approach (description, your own game ads, thumbnail, and so on) I would give the game about 2 stars adding it all up.

It’s alright, there’s a lot of setbacks. (Suggestions to improve the game also)

Alright, I’ve been playing Stealth Master for quite a while now. Yes the events are great but, it’s the same two events over and over again. On top of that, the purchases are quite cheap but addicting to buy over and over again. Mostly now for me when watching ads for in game money, the game shuts down and I have to re-watch the ad. (The ads for me are around 40-50 seconds, sometimes even a minute) The hero’s are fine, but please add more upgrades! I’ve been stuck on all of the hero’s after getting all of the upgrades. Possibly could you add more stuff for us to buy with in game money (Maybe like a glue trap to slow down the enemies) Or add more features to the levels, after a certain point all the levels repeat over and over again, which gets annoying. I have been thinking about this for quite some time, but maybe you can add a Multiplayer mode where people can complete bosses for extra loot. (Maybe like a chest with odds for a new ability or a bonus level to play) The ads for this game is true overall, not like the other bait and switch ads for other games like Gardenscapes. Overall a great game to play without wifi! Thanks for taking time to read my post! Please do maybe try to make some of these suggestions into in-game improvements!!

Problem with premium
Wed Aug 23 2023 iiFlamingIcicle

Overall this game is pretty fun and for something that you’d associate as a small time killer, this mobile game actually has a lot going for it. But there’s a major problem that has me knocking it down by two stars, and that’s the problem with premium. you can either pay around 8 bucks a week or a one time 16 bucks to get “premium” which supposedly gets rid of all ads but unfortunately, it does not. I still hear ads playing between floors and it really distracts and annoys my game experience. Also, for paying 16 whole bucks in a small game, I was hoping you’d be able to remove ALL ads which includes being able to bypass all the chest rewards for ads, because those are notorious for not actually giving the percent for the heroes and it gets tiring watching ads and not getting any hero after already spending for premium. If this gets fixed where premium also allows you to collect the chests and other ad rewards for free then I’d give it 5 stars. Edit: I’m changing my rating to 1 star, the developer response was absolutely horrible. They told me maybe I haven’t played enough and to experience the game more? That is the laziest response to a review and proves they didn’t read what I wrote at all, I literally purchased premium and am explaining my experience and what’s wrong with it. I’ve played this game enough to know what’s wrong with it and that is NOT how you respond to criticism of your game.
