Sprout Valley is a delightful entry into the 'cozy farming' genre that manages to stand out through its adorable pixel art and focused, relaxing loop. You play as Nico the cat, who is trying to build a peaceful life on a series of procedurally generated islands. While many farming sims can feel like a chore-list, Sprout Valley leans into the exploration aspect, giving you the freedom to travel between islands to find rare resources and new seeds.
The crafting system is deep but accessible, and the lack of a punishing stamina system (at least in the early game) allows you to play at your own pace. The weather effects and day/night cycle are beautifully rendered in the retro 2D style, creating an atmosphere that is genuinely soothing. It’s the perfect game for winding down at the end of the day, offering just enough progression to feel rewarding without the stress of more complex simulations.

Sat Jun 14 2025 sarasarasarAAAIt’s a cat themed farming simulator that’s inspired by Stardew Valley & other harvest games. However, it’s more simple and grindy. Cute game to play for short periods of time here and there. Plays in landscape mode.

Sat Aug 29 2026 ZoeyjuneellieI absolutely love this game. It’s giving animal crossing, but for mobile I would just love it for it to have some accessibility features. Like changing the text color. The color text is not contrasting enough for me to see it.

Sun Jun 29 2025 yes I reviewed the appWhen taking the berries from the chest at the beginning of the game, it asks how many you would like to take. When you try to enter an amount, the keyboard from the iOS system will be stuck on the screen. This makes the game unplayable as the keyboard is covering the bottom half of the entire game which includes the joystick.

Thu Jul 23 2026 Why do u need 2 know my nameI liked playing on my computer so I decided to download the app on my iPad. When starting a new game, you cannot skip the intro. And you can’t even make it through the intro before the game crashes and kicks you out. Unfortunate because I really like the game, at least on desktop.

At the middle of the part it kicks me out. I’m not sure if this is my iPad or it’s just the game. But if it’s the game please fix it!
