Thank you for playing Spring Valley: Farm Adventures! This release brings bug fixes and performance improvements. We hope your experience with the app will be better, rate us or leave a comment, we will be happy to hear your opinion!
Spring Valley is a lush, vibrant farming sim that distinguishes itself with a strong focus on exploration and 'adventure' mechanics rather than just static farming. You aren't just planting corn; you are uncovering the secrets of a family estate, restoring dilapidated buildings, and exploring neighboring territories. The story moves at a good clip, providing constant motivation to complete tasks.
The energy system is a bit tighter than some competitors, which encourages strategic planning of your day's activities. The visual quality is top-notch, with expressive character animations and a beautifully realized rural landscape. It’s a very cozy experience that feels like a digital vacation. If you enjoy games like 'Klondike' or 'Township' but want a more personal, character-driven story to anchor your farming, Spring Valley is a fantastic choice.
Massive world to explore and discover
Engaging character-driven storyline
Deep farming and crafting systems
Beautifully rendered 3D graphics
Energy is your most valuable resource. Focus on clearing obstacles that block 'Story Quests' first. These quests often reward you with energy-restoring food items, allowing you to play longer than if you were just clearing random debris for aesthetic reasons.
Don't just sell raw crops. Use your processing buildings (like the Bakery or Dairy) to create complex goods. Fulfilling orders from the 'Order Board' with crafted items gives significantly more experience and gold than selling items from your inventory.
Yes, you can join groups to trade resources and help each other complete massive restoration projects.
Fun game, but does have a few things I don't like. Firstly, I don't play the events because most of them have magic in them (like potions, wizards, etc). Second, I do like the challenge of things getting harder as you go but later in the game things start to get to hard and it's not nearly as fun to play. Third, At the first of the game I didn't know that areas in the map close before you move to the next one so I spent tons of energy clearing it out and making it look cool, so my suggestion would be to add some kind of warning or something ahead of time. Fourth, the clothing designs cost way too much, even in the later game I barely ever get enough coins to buy the clothing designs and I know they are just for looks so it makes sense (to some people) to have them cost a lot because they aren't needed for progression in the game but I don't know why you can't make them cheaper because I love customization but I'm never gonna buy coins with real money just to make clothes which makes it where I don't have many options to customize my character. Other than that, I love the game! It's really fun to progress and follow the story. I love that you can make new NPC friends and go to different maps and stuff like that.
This could be one of the best games of this type and at first it is. But the further you go into the game you absolutely cannot advance especially on the timed quests. You will HAVE to spend money. Too many things require keys and tools. Two different types of tools I should add. To get the tools you almost always have to have keys. Unfortunately the keys are not given out enough to open enough trunks to get the tools. So that is a no go. At first you can get quite a bit of energy relatively easily, but the further you get in the game it begins to require keys and tools just to get to the energy. Which means this is designed to get people hooked on the game and to be able to continue playing it is necessary to spend money. It is also is just frustrating when you need many as 25 keys just open a gate to get to the energy. Also having two or more timed events at the same time is also designed to make you spend more money, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. I personally am on SSI and because I like being able to complete as many facets of a game as possible, means I have already spent too much on this game. I am basically homebound so playing games is my main form of entertainment. SO, disappointing. I know you have to make money, but pricing games so that you have to be making a fortune in real money, that it leads me to believe that you don’t really care if people continue to play your game. Too bad. I would have played this game for a long time and spent some money, but it way too expensive now.
I like this game and it can be addictive and trust me when I say, the developers know it! They designed it to be addictive so they can get your money, and digging into your bank account, they do. You can start out with 2000 energy and not even get past one or two screens and it takes far more many times just to complete one quest. Then you got the main screen to keep up with and power to keep up with before you can even finish making an object. Sometimes you run out of time trying to fill the order on the plane because you needed just one more object, but your out of power. I’ve spent too much already on a game I’m getting absolutely no where. So in my response to the developers response, I very well know all the resources can be found in the game without purchasing anything, but you failed to respond to the fact that unless you spend your life in this game, you will run out of time trying to fill the orders. In programming it this way, we end up having to make purchases in order to get anywhere. Your blanket response purposely flys over this issue. Sometimes theses games feel more like a second job rather then a relaxing day/evening at home. Can end up more stressful then a lap full of unpaid bills and having to decide which ones are most important. Got enough of this in real life there’s days, don’t need to download more.
Sorry, losing interest. I had fun at first with the casual main missions and daily quests at the farm / mansion. Its just not enough variety to keep playing. After awhile the energy based gameplay just gets repetitive and impossible to complete. Not enough time to wait for the energy to be able to clear enough rocks to make 30 jars for syrup, Plus make cheese and or potatoes and butter for 15 sandwiches and growing 6hr crops in a day. Plus 15 sandwiches and by then, good luck passing the quests. Youd need to strategize how you're going to spend your time and energy. By then the challenge expires. The actual gameplay for passing missions or quests is just clearing bushes/rocks/trees to collect items and make things. It would be fun activities to do in real life eg. making homemade costumes, jars and jams. In the game, I can’t possibly collect enough time based energy to play the main mission as well as side quests, daily quests and airplane orders that expire too quickly. Without the paid subscription, you get 1 energy every 90secs. The lowest energy usage takes 15 energy to clear one item. You’d need to pick and choose which part of the game you wanna play or else pay ridiculous amounts of money to do something that'd be more fun to do in person. Im not talking about the tutorial, the actual game is just way too demanding with the characters asking for help and offering nothing in return.
If you have endless free time, patience, or money you may enjoy this. For everyone else who is just looking for a bit of low key entertainment during rare downtown here’s what you need to know. Here’s an idea of how much time and money each task takes: To make one glass bottle you need one glass + one cork, and it takes 15 minutes. To make one glass you need three sands + one coal= 22 minutes. To make three sands you need six stones and it takes four minutes. To get 6 stones you use about 20 ‘energy points’. To make one cork you need wood and grass, it takes 9 minutes. The game gives energy at one every 90 seconds and maxes out at 50ish. To get the tools needed to build the farm out you ship orders. Many of the orders require large quantities of items (9 glass jars) or items from the buildings not yet built so you have to either buy them (by buying fake money with real money)or reject the order and wait 5+ hours for the next one and hope it has the tools you need without requiring items you cannot produce and so on. The developers reply to peoples feedback on this is that the game is meant to be played slowly over a long period of time. I think most people will get so frustrated that they will either pay for an ‘energy subscription membership’ at $16 per month (one energy every 45 seconds up to the max at 50 or whatever) and/or buy the energy and fake money specials they sell or quit. The real goal of course is to get people to dump as much money as possible before they figure out it is a never ending money pit and quit.
I play a lot of games, but for some reason this one plays very slowly and keeps putting up a Wi-Fi logo as if it’s struggling to connect. Nothing else I play does this. It’s too bad, because I think I like this game so far. One major problem this causes is that if I want to make an energy potion on the campfire it takes f o r e v e r. I currently have maybe a couple hundred of the herbs that give you the smallest increment towards an energy boost, but I can only load about 2-3 before the game has to spend about 5 seconds thinking and halting. So I’ve not been using them because it’s not worth spending an entire minute waiting and dragging and waiting and dragging to get 15 energy. It’s getting unplayably annoying, I’m afraid. Another feature I’m not sure I’m going to like is the meeting up at the gazebo. You can only do it once every 4 hours or something like that, so this game demands a lot of your focus to keep coming back throughout the day to do the meetup quests.
I like this game and used to play it every day, but now I find myself playing it way less and less. The tasks require to many coins. Picking up a box of ribbons from the ground can cost over 300 coins and then it doesn’t give you all of the ribbons. It pops up with another cost for the same ribbons 3 times. So if you have 1000 coins you can buy 2 boxes of ribbons and dig up a few plants. Digging up plants to go through the paths cost so many coins. Thinking about it, I don’t know why I wasted so much time on this game in the first place. You have to spend more coins picking up the same box about 3x, digging plants, making items that are over priced. The purpose of this is for you to run out of coins and want to play so bad that you spend real money. Don’t because those coins will go really fast and you’ll need more. There are boxes to open with coins and items, but still not enough to matter. This game is a gold digger. There are quests that take you to different lands, but they are the same lands you’ve already played over and over. Repetitive and lazy development of the game. They say they are working on the game, but never improve anything. It’s a money hungry game. If you have to spend real money to make a little progress then the game is not worth it. This is one of those games.
I just finished a typical event and it took about 34,000 energy to complete! I too love this game, the graphics and story line but it is way too expensive to play the events - which are very fun. I don’t mind going through the normal tasks, but what eats up the energy is all the things you have to make in order to fix something and move on. You can easily waste 100 or more energy making these things and they’re scattered all throughout the game. Yes, they give you bonus energy throughout but you have to have enough keys, saws, hammers, etc… which it takes forever to earn in order to open the rooms. You never have enough to open all the rooms as the number of keys saws, etc.. keeps getting higher. The reward for 1st place is usually 500 with only 1 key which it isn’t really worth going through at the rate you are spending energy. I usually will buy sales in order to continue playing but I cannot afford to continue with what it takes to participate in events. Please consider making the events a little more affordable. I will be playing just the regular game. This is way too expensive!
