Sun Dec 20 2020 CynCiyuI have many story/choices apps and love 💚almost all of them; yet, there are some improvements I’d like to suggest that would make rating this app 5 ⭐️s a no-brainer 🧠! Since there are numerous other apps and sites that offer free titles to read, it’d definitely give a competitive edge if more ways to earn diamonds 💎 were available. I understand to be able to offer this game for free, advertisements and incentives for in app purchases are a must. However, I also spend most of my time in the apps that are more generous with game currency, in turn, I’m much more likely to spend money on memberships, ad removals and/or in-game currencies, with the apps that give me more reason to stay there, lol! Also, although I do enjoy 😊 stories with animations, the ones on this app are ever so slightly juvenile, reminding me much of those in Episode. It would seem to me, as fully grown woman, that you would catch a more vast audience if more adult themed stories were offered, not erotica necessarily, but genres beyond young adult. With all that said, I’ve so far enjoyed the experience offered from your game and am impressed with the audio track and well written material I’ve perused thus far. Fri Aug 11 2023 MidnightSaphireI have to say I really enjoy the storylines and characters created by the artists but… why are there such bad options for people who don’t have the diamonds. I don’t think it’s fair to people who don’t want to spend the money on this app. And all the diamonds are so expensive. And all the choices are super expensive. I don’t know if it’s worth it but I like reading them. Update: I only played the story that it started you on when you first open the app that doesn’t give you the option to watch ads to chose the diamond choice. I still think the amount of ads on the app are just insane. I did try to purchase the VIP pass but it just loaded for what felt like days so I’d close the app and try again. I tried that a few days in a row but still never loaded so I couldn’t get the VIP pass. I do like the app and the stories. But again, the options that you get that aren’t diamond options are just terrible… the clothing, for example, you could have a good option and the rest beautiful options that you can purchase with diamonds, instead it’s mismatched clothes or something elegant. It’s like an all or nothing even with the choices. That I would love to see change in the app. Thank you.

I’ve only downloaded it today because of the decent reviews and I was like well I’ll give it a shot myself. That being said, you have to spend so much money just to make decent choices. It’s not any fun if you have to make just basic choices the entire time but it’s so expensive to make good ones. I feel as if either they should choose certain choices for less diamonds and then some choices for more diamonds. That would give the creators the ability to still make money while giving the player the ability to pick and choose when they want to spend more diamonds or not. I feel that would make the game more fair instead of every single golden choice being 20 diamonds. It’s crazy to have to buy diamonds every single time. Especially when there’s no option to earn diamonds aside from spending money. I don’t know if I will continue playing. Especially when I read the other reviews and saw people complaining about this same issue for a very long time and still nothing being done about it. It’s a fun game overall, but be ready to spend money constantly if you want to also make the great choices too. 🤦🏽♀️ Lastly, it says first purchase of coins x200 percent and I didn’t get those at all and have made several purchases. Those extra coins would have been very helpful.
Much Needed Improvements
Mon Sep 11 2023 fix this plleeaaassseeeI like the stories in the app. However, the diamonds earned to diamonds spent ratio is way off. An outfit shouldn’t cost 19-23 diamonds and a premium choice from 12-23 diamonds, that’s ridiculous! There are a few stories that reward diamonds throughout the chapters; there should be more of those. I do like that some stories give you the option to watch ads in order to claim a premium choice, but every time I do that it freezes my phone and I end up having to close the app down and reopen it only to have to watch 12 more ads for it to work and be able to pick the choice. There are also a TON of grammar errors throughout the app and the stories. Unfortunately, since reading is a huge part of the experience is does tend to take away from the enjoyment. Another downside is the choices provided. If you don’t have money to buy diamonds then you are left with horrible choices and outfits. It’s all or nothing when it comes to the choices. It’s sad because you’re literally telling your users that if you can’t afford to spend money on diamonds then you don’t deserve decent choices. I will give it another month to see if there is an update and some changes. If not I will probably take my money elsewhere. The glitches, ad errors, horrible free choices, grammar errors, and the app constantly freezing up my phone aren’t worth the money or the hassle. You need to fix things.
New Ideas and Tiny Glitch?
Sun Jan 30 2022 DjFoodQueenI love the game, it’s a great alternative to episode but there’s a couple suggestions i would like to make.I believe you guys should have a game to earn diamonds instead of buying it. I’ll give you a couple reason why. We only get 2 diamonds from each chapter we read. We get at least 10 diamonds if we do a task from the list which takes time. We can claim one diamond at a time from a 30 second video. If you guys had a game, people wouldn’t spend money on it etc. A couple suggestions for a game is like, match these, figure out the problem, something simple but not too simple. And each game will have a couple few levels at least 10-15. So if they finish the whole game itself. They’ll have to wait at least an hour to play it again and earn diamonds. Because some of your premium choices are 15 or higher. Knowing that not everyone gets that much diamonds on a daily basis. Your lowest option was 8 diamonds. Like i said it’s a suggestion to have people enjoy the game more and be able to choose the best options without spending money on it. I don’t know if it’s a glitch for me but i don’t receive daily diamonds anymore.
The game is good but inclusivity

There are a lot more restrictions in episode on when you can change the character, where in Spotlight your given the opportunity to make a character for every story you chose to play, I like that a lot. Other than the issue everyone is talking about with the diamonds, I have a much bigger issue that needs instant fixing, in fact it made me not play anymore. This issue is no inclusivity. When I play episode, with every story I am able to choose my love interest(gender I prefer to date that is) while in Spotlight I tried many stories, and I mean many, none of which included anything but the option to date males. It really is bad and I uninstalled the game because of it. I want to be able to enjoy stories and be able to connect with them, and when the only gender I can date is male, I instantly just don’t want to play the story anymore. Please fix this as soon as you can because I think for other thing s that are not the two mentioned, personally speaking it has the potential to be the best on the platform. Also let me know if there in fact is a feature to change the gender preferences because maybe I haven’t been able to find it. Thank you

Sun Dec 17 2023 Arctixity🦋i’ve been playing this game for a very long time and i love the stories. they keep me engaged, they’re fun, exciting and i can never stop playing. i recently got into playing this game again and it’s just as great as i remember but oh my gosh. the amount of ads in this game drives me up the wall. it feels like i can’t play more than 45 seconds without being met with unskippable ads or a very important choice that requires ad watching in order to avoid the sky high diamond price. i’m grateful that there is a free ad option for the diamond choices, but sometimes i will watch all the ads to get it and after i’m done watching 3 or 4 terribly long ads, it says it failed. so i try it again and it fails again. this has happened to me 3 times in a row now and it’s frustrated me enough to make me write a review. don’t get me wrong, i truly enjoy this game but the ads are blocking me from getting all the enjoyment out of it that i know i would without them, or even with a little less. so please. PLEASE i’m begging do something about this.

Mon Jan 01 2024 LGCSWIMSI looove spotlight sooo much and Zach was Soo sweet the best hubby and friend I had ever had everything felt so real like when he ask for ,e to marry him u freaking cried! Can u plz add another story plz! This really inspired me to look forward to my future and be prepared for my spotlight my success in life. To be carful in what I choose not to be mean and most importantly I learned life is a long or short movie a good or bad one. This game is just so inspiring and it’s a beautiful life lesson and it’s not about the money it’s just everyone gets a second chance to improve or change. I’ve changed so many times in my life but this time it really worked! And I’ve learned to stand up for myself and others I can’t even explain how emotional this got me! As I’m writing this I’m trying not to break down in tears! And now that I’ve finished this whole sires of almost infinite life lessons I can look at it and 😢 cry for fir 20 minutes I just can’t get over it! The kiss the drama the love and plot twists were all for a great reason to look forward and NOT backwards just ignore the haters and listen to the lovers.
