Bug fixes and improvements
Thanks for playing Spider! Please send any questions or feedback to support@crawbuck.com
MobilityWare's Spider Solitaire remains the gold standard for the genre. What makes this version so successful is the perfect marriage of classic gameplay with modern engagement features like 'Daily Challenges.' These challenges provide a reason to log in every day, offering unique puzzles that reward you with collectible crowns and trophies.
The 'Winning Deals' feature is a stroke of genius, ensuring that there is always at least one solution to the board, which eliminates the frustration of unwinnable games. The animations are fluid, and the ability to customize card backs and backgrounds with seasonal themes (like Halloween or Winter) keeps the visual experience fresh. Whether you're playing a simple 1-suit game to relax or a brain-bending 4-suit match, the controls are responsive and the interface is clutter-free. It’s simply the best version of Spider Solitaire on mobile.
1, 2, 3, and 4 suit game difficulties
Daily Challenges with collectible rewards
Winning Deals that guarantee a solution
Customizable card backs and seasonal themes
Unlimited undo and smart automatic hints
Focus on creating an empty column as early as possible. An empty slot is your most powerful tool in Spider Solitaire, allowing you to move entire sequences and reorganize your tableau more effectively.
New players should start with 1-suit games to learn the mechanics. Once you can win 1-suit games consistently, move to 2-suits to introduce the challenge of managing mixed sequences before tackling 4-suits.
Winning Deals are hand-picked game boards that are guaranteed to have at least one solvable solution.
Cards are small to read when in portrait phone position but when moving it to landscape they are so large you have to continually scroll up and down on the screen to see all the cards. I agree with other reviews that it’s kind of annoying that the help button will put the card on an opposite suite when a matching suite is available. The win ratio for medium or two decks is pretty bad. I don’t know why I have won much more on a different app but I have. But there are no ads. So there’s that.
Best game on my iPhone. I paid $1 for this and it’s without adds, so that makes it the best! A few adorable glitches, nothing that ruins the game. Thanks for creating this. My wife and I can’t stop playing this game
I was tired of all the audio ads popping up in the middle of games on the ‘free spider solitaire’ apps so I paid for this one. Bad move for me - this app can’t even make the simplest of intuitive moves... when you tap on a card to move it, it should automatically go to the best matched card which would be of the SAME suit - but it doesn’t! It will attach the card you tapped to a different suit when there is at least one card of the same suit and sometimes more. This is a simple programming issue and should be fixed. I will be deleting this app - it’s nothing but maddening and frustrating.
Appreciate the bright layout and easy on the eye graphics!
I paid my 99 cents and regret it. This app has two major flaws. First the movement of cards is very clumsy. And the algorithm to assign moved cards to their logical spot is just dumb. And there is no timer to make this a contest against the clock. The only benefit is that it's ad and pop up free. Not sure it's even worth the minimal price.
Other spider solitaire applications can keep you in an endless loop of ads. No “x” to kill the ad and start the game.
Auto move on tap is unusable. Consistently selects the wrong/opposite color. Then when it completes a stack and moves it up, you cannot undo it — even though it picks the wrong move/stack to clear.
Like the game, simple, wish there wasn’t a payment though.
