86/100

Sparklite is a gem of an action-adventure that feels like a modern tribute to the classic Zelda games. The pixel art is gorgeous, full of life and color, and the procedural generation of the world ensures that exploration always feels fresh. The core mechanic of gathering 'Sparklite' to upgrade your gear in the floating city above is a great way to handle the roguelite elements without making the game feel too punishing.

The combat is snappy, and the boss fights are creative, requiring you to master the different 'gadgets' you build throughout the journey. It strikes a perfect balance between being challenging and being accessible. There’s a wonderful sense of discovery as you find new characters and secrets in the ever-shifting world below. It’s a high-quality, premium-feeling adventure that works perfectly on mobile.

What an awesome, refreshing game!

I never take the time to leave review for anything, but really saw the need to leave one for this game. Believe it or not, I actually bought this game for the switch a few years ago but never played it. Once I saw it for iOS I decided to finally take a dive, and boy what a good game. Interesting take on a game, when I was told it was a weird copy of classic Zelda titles. But that is not the case. Interesting mechanic to just explore until you die, and fun way to plan upgrades for yourself and weapon before each outing. Thought id just enjoy a little here and there, but here I am about 2 hours later unable to put the controller down!

Hoping it gets better.

I’ve been playing since last night, a couple hours with of gameplay, I guess, and so far…I’m still waiting for something to happen. All I’m doing is going down, battling monsters, coming back up and spending money on building workshops for the npcs (workshops that don’t really do a whole heck of a lot) then repeat. I mean, the land technically changes, but it feels like the same exact thing unless you memorize the exact layout each time you go down, then I guess you would be able to appreciate the “difference” more. I guess you’d know “hey, last time this area had a tree on the left and a lake in the center. Now it has a lake on the top and a rock on the left” I don’t know, hopefully this is still just some sort of reality long introduction? I’ll update if I find out that it is.

It’s like legends of Manna and it supports controller

The rogue like is very driven so I’m not sure how long the game is gonna last because everybody in the town takes 100 gems to upgrade and I’ve already gotten 100 gems and I’ve been playing less than an hour and there’s only like six people I think there’s stuff you can buy too. I buy stuff they’ll be replacement items more expensive anyhow it’s a really cute game, but you have a city that stays the same as floating in the air and then he just run around on the ground and then when you die, they pick you up ““to make it, nonviolent game

Excellent game, especially for mobile

I know that most games on mobile don’t come with a premium, but this game is much more than worth it. The world is fun, controls are tight and engaging, music is good, and gameplay loop is some of the best that a roguelite has to offer. The world is procedurally generated but still extremely well done, and the rate of progress to failure is spot on. Whether on mobile or any other platform, I highly recommend this game.

Can’t say enough amazing things about this game!

I was hooked from the start when I saw the art style. Then I saw the devs were the same as MANY other games I LOVE. For one, Dead Cells. But THIS game is equally amazing. The art, the story, the mechanics, the style. Absolutely positively love it. Can’t praise it enough. As others have said: BUY IT. Now I’m going to go buy it on switch as well :) because that’s how good it is. EDIT: I bought it on Switch as well 🤙 get some

Pretty good!

I’m still in the beginning, but so far the game has a solid story and a well designed world. However, the only criticism I have is about the lack of proper instructions, a tiny button appeared at the corner of the screen and I had to look for it for a while until I realized that’s what I had to do, in the beginning I had to switch the saves because I missed what the robot assistant said in the beginning and the instructions weren’t replayed. Besides, fun, interesting game!

I would definitely recommend but

I’ve run into an error with the audio, I can’t hear anything in the game no music and no sound effects I’ve tried working with the audio editor I’ve restarted my phone and deleted and reinstalled it and I still can’t hear anything I would hope that this gets fixed soon but otherwise it’s a great game

It’s been pretty fun so far I enjoy the visible changes to the environment when you upgrade. The combat part can be tricky but not complicated and overall enjoyable. My favorite part however is the fact that when you die while adventuring you don’t lose the resources you need to upgrade. Overall a great game and I’m looking forward to finishing it.
