Exciting new features and fixed errors
Solitaire Classic is exactly what it needs to be: a clean, ad-light, and highly customizable version of the world's most popular card game. In a sea of Solitaire apps that are bogged down by complex menus and heavy monetization, this version stands out for its simplicity and focus on the actual game.
The animations are smooth, and the 'winning deals' feature ensures that you’re playing a solvable game if you’re looking for a relaxing experience. I particularly enjoyed the daily challenges, which provide a reason to come back every morning. It doesn't try to be anything other than Solitaire, and that's its greatest strength. For anyone looking for a digital deck of cards that feels good to play, this is a top-tier choice.
Klondike Draw 1 & Draw 3 modes
Beautiful custom card themes
Unlimited free undo and hints
Offline play support
Every day features a unique Solitaire puzzle. Completing these earns you crowns and trophies, which can be viewed in your awards gallery.
Access the settings menu to toggle between right-handed and left-handed modes, or change the card face font for better visibility.
You can choose to play 'Winning Deals,' which are guaranteed to have at least one solution, or standard random deals.
I opened it just to see if I would be interested 😳and to my amazement, I played the game up to level 41. I’m an older person and having that wonderful game of forgetfulness with my brain. Yet I spent over an hour not realizing that much time had passed. Now it’s pass my bedtime. I’m going to have to play this one at a time during the daytime and set my clock. Really enjoyable!!!!! I am giving this one 5 stars even though the stars went to sleep 😴 without me.
The game is could be amazing but the amount of annoying ads are ridiculous and they pop up in the middle of every single game and it’s never just one ad it’s two or three. I used to get annoyed when games would make us watch an ad after every game but now that they are forcing us to watch them in the middle of the game and constantly breaking our concentration I think I’m going to keep looking for a game that has less ads and doesn’t constantly ask for money if they don’t adjust their ad situation to be a little more player friendly.
I bought the Ads removal and things were going okay. But the developers were thinking, How do we milk the consumer further? They came up with the brilliant idea to limit the number of moves you have to complete a game. If you can’t complete the game in those moves, you then have a choice to add moves by, you guessed right, watching an AD!!! You also have the option to quit and start a new game. How about an option to get back the money paid to remove ads? Highly Unethical Behavior by the developer. I did email the developer and Apple about this. The developer never responded. And as far as Apple goes, why would they respond? They got their 30% take on the ads removal fee. They don’t care!
I love the app. Play all the time. However in the collection area where I love watching the matches being made. I never know when it completes the last level. I have tried several times. I watched one time and it just started a new series. When the last level is reached we should at least get some kind of alert? Just saying. CWE
I was playing Happy Color and wanted to get a hint so I pressed the lightbulb which gave me an ad - it happened to be your Solitaire game - but instead of allowing me GET the game, it said the game needed to be updated. But when I updated it. Could not get back to my game of Happy Color. I don't know how I can explain it better. Ads are not only annoying, but downright irritating when you have to quit the game you're playing and wait hours before you can finally get rid of the ad and go back to the game we were playing when you were interrupted that simply will not. I go away. I don't know how I can explain it better.
I’ve had this game for 13 or 14 years & I kept it over all other solitaire apps I’ve tried bc I loved the simplicity of the interface. I hated that even though I have paid for an ad free version multiple times, I still had ads between every hand, BUT this new interface is DISGUSTINGLY ANNOYING. Plus it is sooooo hideous. I’ll go back to other apps that I paid to play each hand that i also appreciated the interface of since now I have to pay for all style selections. Please let me just have numbers & suits without paying more. My loyalty to your app should afford me that.
Please allow me to give you my definition of annoying: TRYING TO GET RID OF A KLONDIKE AD. While I was playing my favorite on-line game, Scrabble, I was interrupted by a screen that was telling me I "should"--yes, that was literally the word that was used--I "should" upgrade my Solitaire app. I clicked on "no," even though I hadn't actually been asked a question. It seems your app wasn't going to take no for answer. The authoritative notice that I SHOULD upgrade remained on the screen. This annoyed me more than I can say, especially given the fact that the only reason I'd ever downloaded the earlier version of the game was to get the stubborn ad to go away on that occasion. Mind you, I have never once played that Solitaire game of yours after downloading it. Why? Because I don't care for Solitaire. But, I decided once again that I would respond "yes" to the non-question, "You SHOULD upgrade." And I did so for the same reason that I had done so before--to get the confounded ad to go away so that I could get back to my Scrabble game. I waited the few seconds it took to get the confirmation that the download had been completed. I clicked back on the Scrabble icon, and, instead of the Scrabble screen's coming up on my screen, a notice came up. Can you guess what it was? My ol' favorite: YOU SHOULD UPGRADE YOUR SOLITAIRE AP. Really? I searched up Klondike customer service for an email address. I wrote an email describing my frustration. THE EMAIL WOULDN'T SEND! I rebooted and wrote the email again. Again, it didn't want to send, but this time the screen told me that before clicking send I needed to click on a certain number of "satisfaction" stars to indicate the level of delight I have been experiencing with Klondike. I really believed that one star was QUITE excessive, but I have clicked on it in the hopes that: 1) this new message WILL send and 2) you folks at Klondike will not be bothering me with any further messages about upgrades or any other "you should" messages.
I love all the options/features. Great graphics. Although it’s of little importance, I like that it gives the option to download a background from your gallery. Someone left a review actually complaining about having “forced updates.” Since when was an update a bad thing? Giraffe123, maybe you need head out of the clouds.
