Our Expert Score

78/100

Solitaire Classic 2026 is exactly what it needs to be: the definitive mobile version of the game we all grew up playing on desktop. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, and honestly, it shouldn't. What it does do is perfect the interface. The cards are large and legible even on smaller screens, and the animations for winning (the classic bouncing card waterfall) are as satisfying as ever. It feels 'modern' purely through its performance; there is zero lag, and the haptics feel great.

I particularly enjoyed the Daily Challenges. They give you a reason to log in every day, offering specific 'winnable' deals that act more like logic puzzles than random shuffles. The customization options are also quite generous—you can change everything from the felt on the table to the design of the card backs. It’s a distraction-free environment that is perfect for commuters or anyone looking to unwind for ten minutes. It’s reliable, elegant, and timeless.

One of the best card games ever! Taught to me by my Grandfather. He played it all the time. Don’t create an app to do all the work for the person playing or they will never learn all the concepts of the game.

I am sick of the offers for a new game of the same one I am playing. Let me play my game. I do not want a new version. Don’t you people have anything else to do?

It is the classic solitaire you first learned and the simplest original version. I love that I get to compete against others and actually enjoy it!

It’s fun to develop a new strategy for winning this game. I’ve played many matching tile games but this one makes me start from scratch to figure out how to string together a series of moves that that will win and not lead to a deadend.
