Our Expert Score

82/100

Smash Fest embraces total visual and mechanical chaos in the best way possible. By utilizing unpredictable ragdoll physics and interactive stage hazards, virtually every match produces laugh-out-loud moments as players send each other flying across the screen.

The controls are wonderfully streamlined for mobile screens, giving you responsive movement without cluttering the display. Weapons feel punchy, and the wide variety of arena themes—from crumbling pirate ships to sci-fi factories—keeps matches feeling unpredictable.

It's a lighter experience designed for quick blasts of fun rather than ultra-competitive esports depth, but as a party brawler, Smash Fest delivers pure entertainment.

Exactly as advertised

As of August 2026, this game is literally exactly as advertised. I beg the devs to not change this game. Currently I can play this game without an internet connection which is great for when I’m winding down for bed as the flashes from ads are jarring. I play this game with a connection during the day though and the ads are only played between levels and it’s not after every single level. If you run out of lives you can buy 5 more with in game coins that you earn with each level win, or watch an ad to get one more. Love the option as when I first started and was getting a hang of the physics of the game I was losing a lot and didn’t have enough coins and would’ve been frustrated and deleted the game if I didn’t have a way to get more lives without paying actual money. I’ve literally had this game for less than a month and am already on level 1600+ bc I just sit and play it in my free time. It’s a very satisfying game and when I’m winding down for bed it makes me relaxed and sleepy so it’s been my go to. Again I BEG devs not to change the game PLEASE!!!

Dishonest button layout
Sat Sep 05 2026 @iMatti_

Either the app doesn’t realize this or it’s purposely trying to take coins away that users accumulate. If I don’t pass a level then it comes up saying I’ve ran out of balls. I think most people are probably like me and they would instantly go to hit the “try again” button, but where it normally is is a different button that says 900 coins could be used to get five more balls. So I’ll accidentally click it because I’m just going quick. This means I lose out on the coins I wanted to save which takes about 22 levels to pass to get 900 coins, approximately. So my question is, does the game not realize how easy it is to mistakenly hit that button or are they trying to get us to accidentally click it which is a dishonest way to siphon our coins so that way we’ll pay for more coins? Just move the buttons so that way they’re in a similar area. If sometimes the screen pretty much looks the same but the button says try again, other times it gives me the option to use 900 coins, the brain starts to mix those two together. They know how to do it correctly because when someone runs out of our five lives that we can get, it gives us the option to either pay 900 coins to get five more lives or watch a commercial to get one more life/heart. They even put a little logo on each button to make it visually instantly recognizable. That’s perfect. They need to do that for what I mentioned above too. If that happens then I would give it five stars.

Excellent design, excellent fun

I play a lot of casual puzzle games and normally I stop playing somewhere between level 50 and level 200 and certainly by level 450. They get boring or they get greedy and try to make things so hard that you must use boosters that you must purchase with real money. Smash Fest has stayed interesting challenging at a pleasant level and since it basically does not use boosters has not forced me into buying them. I am currently at level 2221 and expect I’ll keep going for the foreseeable future. I have played several other highly similar games and Smash Fest has the most satisfying physics of any that I have played and has a more pleasant soundscape several similar games do you break the glass bottles? Have such high pitches that it is painful to listen to them smash vests are just fun so if you were looking for a game like this I strongly recommend it beyond the others.

Fun, but it cheats you

I’ve had lots of fun blasting through level after level. It’s addictive. It’s also cheating me out of lives. It’s the same concept most games use. You get five lives. Every time you fail to finish, you use one until all your lives are gone. Then, you have the option to refill your lives with the in-game reward system that provides coins for each victory (20 for most levels, 50 for hard, and 100 for super hard). If you have no coins, you have the option to pay real money for coins or you can watch an ad for one life. If you choose to wait for lives to refill on their own, you wait 30 minutes per life. If you wait 2:30 hours, you come back to five lives. This is where the cheat is. Every time you open the app, the 30-minute timer resets. So, if you wait 2:29:27 (as I just did) instead of 2:30, you come back to four lives and a 30-minute countdown to the fifth. Seems like a small thing, but it looks to me like a way to force you to spend money. Maybe it’s accidental. Maybe it’s not.

LOVE IT!

I love this game! I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy smashing things. I like the fact that you can aim at certain places so I guess it’s the physics of the game. Also, I think it really helps me with stress smashing all this stuff because you don’t get to smash things really too much in real life. I catch myself saying things like “yes!” at the end when I beat the level. I’ve only ever written one review in all of these apps, but this game is so fun there aren’t a lot of ads. I’ve gone up to a lot of levels. I’m not going to say on here lol but the ads don’t bother me because they’re so infrequent. (please don’t change that ) I don’t like when you play a game and there’s no ads for 30 levels and then all of a sudden there’s an ad after each one that’s when I delete the app. This is great though I appreciate it. And you’re actually able to win.!!! Thanks!

INCREDIBLY FUN & CATHARTIC

I had seen the ads for this game before and it was always fun to play it has added health benefits too relieves stress it’s fun and challenging to see if you can beat the timer in your head also the materials underneath this is an incredible experience it may be a game yet it teaches so many different things there is simplicity to hard things and hard things with the right viewpoint and trajectory can still accomplish goals!! I find myself singing giants must fall they have to come down and the symbolism for me is that no matter how hard or do something is whether by yourself or with your team each technique produces outcomes and strategies you may not have always seen as possible EVERYONE SHOULD BUY THIS BOTTOMS UP AND HAPPY SMASHING

SMASH 💥 FEST 😱

I’m impressed with this game! It looks like it is going to be kinda boring, but thus far it’s been pretty addicting for me! Something about knocking down whatever is stacked is quite satisfying and completing each level is definitely satisfying. I recommend this game for anyone who has a little time out of money making games to play this game you will enjoy the levels as it requires some skills to complete the level with your counted balls! I hope you enjoy this game as much as I have and I am still playing! But I had to let others know how relaxing 😎 and challenging it is to play SMASH 💥 FEST… Great job on the creation of this game! Thank you 😊

Great game, sort of.

I really love this game. It’s quite cathartic. The levels are quick and easy which makes this a fun mindless game to play. I’m up in the 5000 levels and after about the first 1000 levels some of the challenges went away. I would have given this 5 stars but the game isn’t progressing with any sort of difficulty. I like the blocking things that were in front or the blocks that ate the cannon ball if you didn’t hit it in the right spot. Don’t get me wrong, I like that this game is easy but there’s almost like zero challenge. I want a little bit of challenge every now and then. I’m also noticing some repetitiveness in the levels. It just needs some more development.
