Slide to Solve is a minimalist puzzle challenge focused on strategy and foresight. The objective is to slide all blocks in a single direction—up, down, left, or right—until they interact to complete the level. With no text or UI distractions, players can immerse themselves in 49 thoughtfully crafted puzzles. Featuring pixel-perfect graphics and relaxing background music, it’s a rewarding experience for fans of pure logic games.

Our Expert Score

78/100

Slide to Solve is a triumph of minimalist design. It strips the puzzle genre down to its barest components—blocks and directions—and builds a surprisingly deep experience from those simple blocks. Each of the 49 levels is a self-contained logic problem that requires you to think several steps ahead. Because the blocks interact with one another to stop or shift, the game feels more like a mechanical machine you are trying to align than a simple sliding puzzle.

The presentation is exceptionally clean, with pixel-perfect graphics and a soundtrack that perfectly complements the 'zen' nature of the gameplay. Recent updates have further refined the controls and UI, making the experience feel modern despite its roots. It’s a quiet, thought-provoking game that avoids the flashy distractions and ad-heavy clutter of many contemporary mobile titles. If you enjoy games like 'Sokoban' but want something more streamlined and visually soothing, this is an easy recommendation.

One of my favorite iOS games of all time

Thank you guys for not abandoning the game, I’m quite surprised to see an update despite being free and after all this time. I’ve been playing it since 2020 (stock at lvl 50), and once in a while I try again to beat it. This new bid update has certainly given me the energy to come back complete all levels!

Good Foundation

Excited to see how this game progresses. So many games out there with tons of ads and paid add ons, it’s nice to have a relaxing but thought provoking game that I paid for up front and can enjoy. Keep new levels coming at this pace and eventually I would buy an expansion with a different theme (other than the cubes). Took about 2 days to beat the first 40 levels but they are replayable.

Amazing Concept

I don’t play lots of mobile games due to lack of creativity with most of them. However this changes everything. This game truly makes you think about your next move. Maybe in the future you could make new game modes so we can continue to stay interested.

Fun

I don’t play many games anymore but this was seriously fun. Beat it in a couple days. Some levels were very challenging. Please make more levels. Thanks!

Excellent short puzzle game that could go further

I’ve played a lot of swipe based puzzle games and this one is easily one of the best. I just wish there was more, as well as quality of life features like portrait mode.

Really enjoyed it!

Fun minimalistic puzzle game. Not overly difficult but i did get stuck a few times. The forty levels were well worth the 99¢.

Fun and challenging game

Great game, I’ve really enjoyed working these puzzles. But I’m tired of being stalled at #46! Has anyone made a walkthrough? Thanks!
