Sheep Dash is one of those 'one more try' games that ends up eating an hour of your life. It’s deceptively simple—just tap to jump—but the rhythm changes just enough to keep you on your toes. The art style is adorable, reminiscent of classic children's cartoons, which makes the inevitable 'game over' less frustrating.
The progression system is solid. Unlocking new animals isn't just a cosmetic change; some of the larger animals have different hitboxes, which slightly alters the timing needed for jumps. It's a great little time-killer for commutes or waiting in line. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, but it executes the 'endless jumper' formula with a lot of charm and very few bugs.

Sat Apr 04 2026 sassy**sallyI have read some of the complaints about having to watch ads. I am at level 152 and have not watched a single ad to finish a level. People are being unfair to this game. So far every puzzle has been solvable. I have had to start over six times on one level. Once I figured out what I did wrong, I tried again and sometimes again. That’s what makes it great! problem-solving and I like to think about it! Like another reviewer, I would like to see an undo button would gladly pay for it because yeah sometimes I realize as soon as I did it, it was the wrong. Also, I would like to be able to turn the hint button off if I wanted to because like I said, I like to solve the problem myself. So far it’s a great game thank you. I have watched ads but it is because I like to have the coins in the bank and have bought a new sheep skin!

Tue Mar 17 2026 cedes74I don’t review many games but I really love this one even after playing over a 1000 levels. There’s only optional ads, no lives, no real time limits (there are occasionally pieces on levels that have a time limit to remove from the board), and it is fairly challenging with a variety of difficulty. The kind of app I’m willing to make a purchase to support. The only thing I would love to see added would be an undo option as it drives me crazy when I realize I made an obvious mistake.

Mon Mar 30 2026 iH8murkaI really don’t understand how this “game” has a 5-star rating considering it’s really just a glorified Ad bank with a short time playing a game on the side. It’s obvious the developers just want you to sit and watch ads to make them money as you will find out that when you play this “game” you will spend more time watching ads than actually playing the game as EVERY level requires one or more boosters to complete so unless you pay for those boosters, you’re watching ads and that’s pretty ridiculous and just proves the game is definitely NOT SKILL BASED! They have killed any enjoyment you might derive from playing it. Ive also noticed that developers ONLY respond to people who put a 5 star review, otherwise they don’t care. Apple Store should remove these scam apps , they are truly garbage as in this day and age we are bombarded and inundated with ads just about everywhere and everything we do and it’s all too much. Uninstall is my verdict.

It’s not so much the ads, that it is it doesn’t give you free “extras” like similar games give when you beat multiple levels, allowing you to accumulate “special moves” to get out of problem! You have to watch an add every time you need a little help, which is bad enough that this game is seems to be strictly a place you come to watch very long 2 minute to 2 1/2 minute adds!!! …BUT, the worse part after you endure a VERY VERY LONG add, 1/2 the time it won’t go back to the game and allow you to use the “special moves” you should’ve earned after watching the “LotR” trilogy length add!!! I’m deleting this app and going back to the other one! Ps…I’m almost to level 300, I just didn’t play this game for an hour or 2…I’ve had it over a month! COMPLETE SCAM!!!
Challenging but fun game!
Mon Feb 02 2026 littlebluebubbleIt’s not an easy puzzle game. One really needs to think about the moves to solve each level without using any tools. But it’s definitely possible! The graphic design is very cute. There are endless tries one can have. And no ads (unless you need to use a tool!) The only suggestion I can think of is have an option to back up a step. Sometimes I made a hasty move and realized right away that it’s wrong, then I had to reset a level instead of just backing up. And level 111 is broken!
Super Cute! … but…

I really like it but I’m stuck on level 111 because 2 baby chicks won’t run away like all the rest do when *all* the adjacent spaces to them are clear. They won’t move, so I can’t clear the sheepies & rams. 🙁 I want to keep playing but these two chicks are stuck. Pretty sure it’s a glitch & not a feature.’ Or is there some trick/secret I don’t know about? Thanks for the cute game & the first 110 levels.

Sun Apr 05 2026 mrs. birdsworth-peachThis started being very fun. The ads are a bit much but I was watching them to get boosters like the shuffle and remove. Since I’ve updated the game, I can’t even watch an ad to shuffle or remove. As soon as I click anything I get an error message saying no sheep to reverse. So if I can’t finish the level without needing to shuffle, I’m just stuck. Also the App Store description mentions daily challenges and features that are simply not there. Deleted.
Could be really fun
Sun Jan 18 2026 CarothaSo I found a game called Farm Out, and it was really fun, except that after two levels, I started having to watch between 2-4 ads just to clear EACH level. And that wasn’t even the worst part: the ads were all two minutes long, these horrific Royal Match/Kingdom or Villains Match ads that absolutely won’t close. Then I found Sheep Away, which is almost exactly the same really fun game, but this one wasn’t making me watch so many ads, but now the levels have gotten harder, and it’s necessary to watch ads to clear levels, and at first it wasn’t so bad because the ads were less than a minute (and btw, NO AD SHOULD BE LONGER THAN 30 SECONDS). But now I keep getting those two minute long ads again, which I will not sit through because it isn’t just 2 minutes: it’s waiting for the miserable ad to end, then trying over and over again to get it to close. UPDATE: I took away another star because after the bug fix update, I’m still getting Royal Match/Kingdom/Match Villains ads which start off two minutes long and then take at least one to two MORE minutes to close after struggling with them. I LOATHE ROYAL MATCH, KING ROBERT, whatever the hell they’re called and will NEVER play these games ever. Do not torture me with these ads! I feel so used and angry. When I love a game, I will play it for years. I played Abyssrium for seven years. I played Merge Mansions for five until they kept screwing players over. I’ve been playing Cats & Soup for four years now and don’t plan to stop. I will watch ads voluntarily if they aren’t too long in order to get specific rewards. I would play this game for years, but I’m already pretty miserable, in spite of the concept being fantastic. It’s really a shame. There are plenty of ways to make money on these games without making players miserable! This game could be my absolute favorite way to relax if the devs would fix the ads issue. I STILL hope I can come back and update this give it five stars and to say that the devs listened.
