Sea Fantasy is an expansive open-world adventure that blends peaceful fishing mechanics with deep RPG elements. Set in a world where the land has been swallowed by the tides, you play as a scavenger-sailor looking for hope. Explore vibrant coral reefs, dodge massive whirlpools, and use your trusty rod to reel in everything from tiny sardines to mythical leviathans. Sell your catch to upgrade your vessel with better engines, specialized nets, and even defensive weaponry to protect yourself from the terrors that haunt the open sea.

Our Expert Score

91/100

Sea Fantasy is a triumph of atmosphere. Most fishing games are either too arcadey or too boring, but this title strikes a perfect balance by adding a layer of high-stakes exploration. One minute you're peacefully reeling in a colorful tropical fish under a beautiful sunset, and the next, you're fleeing for your life as a massive shadow passes under your boat. The tension is palpable and brilliant.

The RPG elements are surprisingly deep, with a skill tree that lets you specialize in different types of fishing or combat. The water physics and lighting effects are some of the best I've seen on mobile, making every voyage feel like a cinematic experience. It captures the 'romance of the sea' perfectly while still providing a rewarding gameplay loop that keeps you coming back for 'just one more catch.'

Quirky and fun fishing RPG
Fri Mar 06 2026 Opethofthefall

Downloaded on a whim and it’s actually quite good. The Secret of Mana vibes in the screenshots caught my eye and I’m a sucker for RPG fishing games. I’m a few hours into it now and I’m enjoying it. Graphics are well done, the gameplay is fun and works well with touch controls. Story isn’t terribly exciting but it’s serviceable so far. I recommend to anyone who likes quirky RPGs with an SNES feel.
