Screw Puzzle is the digital equivalent of those tactile fidget toys that you just can't put down. The premise is brilliantly simple: you have metal plates bolted together, and you have to unscrew the bolts and move them to open holes to let the plates fall away. It taps into a very specific kind of mechanical logic that is incredibly satisfying to solve. The clinking sound of the metal and the 'pop' of a bolt being removed provides a fantastic ASMR experience.
What starts as a simple task quickly evolves into a spatial nightmare as you realize that removing a bolt might cause a heavy plate to swing down and block your access to other screws. The 2026 update added a 'Magnet' power-up that adds a nice strategic layer, but the core game remains a pure test of logic. It's the perfect 'waiting in line' game—easy to jump into for two minutes, but challenging enough to make you feel like you've actually exercised your brain.

Tips & Walkthrough
Before you unscrew anything, look for the 'top-most' plate. Always try to clear the plates that are pinning others down. If you move a bolt and a plate swings into a position that covers an empty hole, you'll likely get stuck—plan your sequence carefully!
Gameplays
You have a limited number of empty holes to store your screws. Try to free up a plate as quickly as possible so you can return the screws to the holes that the plate was covering, keeping your 'workspace' clear for the next section.

If all holes are filled with screws and no more plates can fall, you can use a 'Wrench' booster to add an extra hole or restart the level.

Fun satisfying puzzle game
Sun Mar 24 2024 Auntie AdiWestI find this fun and oddly satisfying to watch the pieces fall off the board. Challenging but not frustrating. Sometimes ad pop ups in between lvls but the kind that give you the option to X off after 5 secs. Only thing that frustrates me at all is that some lvls you just cannot beat without using the “gimme” space (which requires watching an ad). I don’t mind the ad part of it, I just like to beat games without using “power ups” & this one seems to have some lvls you just have to use the “free space power up” for. Just a particular preference though. Overall great game, simple concept for high fun!
Average mobile game
Sun May 05 2024 cali monkey 1279When I read all the reviews, I saw most of the complaints were about the ads. I don’t know if the people writing those have never played a mobile game before but this game was average in the ad way. This game is pretty easy and the levels go by really fast, but I don’t think the developers made enough levels because eventually they start repeating. Once I got the same level two times in a row. I read one review about how they hid an ad button in one of the holes but when I downloaded the game, the ad was taking up half the hole so I don’t know if that person just has bad eyesight but I always saw the button. It is really easy to gain money and screwdrivers (which can be really useful) and that makes this game more fun. On another note, most levels are really easy but the others need to have a power up to be beaten. Earlier, I was playing this game and I found a really hard level (those are hard to come across) so I got kind of excited. But after about 10 retries, I realized the level was not possible. I was forced to buy a screwdriver to free up some of the holes. Overall good game but there are still a few things that need working on.

Sun Jul 14 2024 Kindron DarkfireThe game has great features . It doesn’t have two part levels like so many similar games. The game has a lot of potential but that gets ruined by some very big flaws. However, the timer limits you and is a pathetic way to add artificial difficulty. This game also commits the mobile gaming sin of having forced ads and ads for getting items, which is unnecessary no matter the game and is just the game trying to gauge as much ad money as they can. Games that do this ad unnecessary ads to try and force you to buy their stupid ad removal option. And if you mention it, the companies claim the ads are all necessary when they’re not. If people are forced to watch ads, they don’t watch ads for items. However, all of that could be forgiven if not for the last and worst flaw: the game reuses levels over and over again. It’s not even subtle and it happens so early in the game. It’s not like I made it 1000 levels in and they have repeating layouts. I started noticing it around level 150, and that was after I confirmed the same layouts complete with the same color boards in the level.
Unbeatable levels without paying money
Thu Dec 21 2023 sneeky777555Eventually you run into unbeatable levels which require purchased tools such as screwdriver or bomb to beat, there is no solution that dose not involve using them. Not sure if the levels are the same for everyone but my level 75 has 4 holes total, and a rectangle with three screws in it which block three of the four holes. I can move one screw away to the extra hole but I still have a rectangle with two screws in it and no place to move them. It’s not that there is an answer I’m not seeing, it’s impossible with out watching an ad which I already paid not to view. Wish I could get a refund for purchasing ad block for this game because they make you watch them anyway to skip or beat levels with no solution. Would not recommend any of their games and will not be playing any of them in the future. What a cool game idea you had here that you totally ruined by being greedy. You don’t deserve my money but you have it anyway because I’m a fool who thought this game looked good.
Wish I could mute all the ads
Tue Sep 17 2024 Kat RunaI’m neurodivergent and I was looking for something I could use as an active meditation. I love it. Some of the ads can be muted so I pay more attention to them. I’m on level 4586 and instead of getting progressively harder to the point you want to throw your phone across the room it switches it up. So you can try doing things different ways and the easy puzzles help you reset for the harder ones. I dislike having to turn my volume down for some of the ads as opposed to muting them so I can hear the podcast I’m listening to but everything else kicks. I do wish they’d make more games where the games reward you instead of putting you down. I’ll never download a game that has a ad with mean voices saying “you can’t do that!” I got enough of that as a kid.

Fri Oct 20 2023 1stCeyeI just started playing…ten minutesago, bearing in mind the comments about ads. [Its spelled. ADS. adds is what you do in math class, ok?] **Level 5 , I was shocked! They found a way to put an extra ad into the game play!! Now understand that I really like this game; it’s challenging and fun! But I went to put a screw into an empty hole….THE HOLE HAD A ▶️ (green, of course!) in it….REALLY…HOW ANNOYING! Right now, I trying to decide if I like this game enough to keep playing {I HATE ADS} or give this up as another annoyance game! **As I said, I like this game, but ads before and after every level; now ads IN the game…I wish you would remove the in game ‘screw holes’ ads! I’m asking nicely. Please remove these ad invitations….not really; you HAVE to watch them to play….that breaks my concentration! I’m deciding……

Thu Mar 07 2024 bubblicious!!!What a great game! A true puzzle indeed. Easy-Peasy through the first 35 levels. Then you really have to think about how the slats will fall, will holes get covered up, will you have enough holes for future moves. Definitely could be loads of challenging fun, however, there’s an ad between every game (no probs) and you have a limited amount of time to solve (ok). If you don’t solve it in time, another annoying ad to restart the game. OR, you can get 30 more seconds of game time to continue. If you choose to add 30 seconds, you guessed it, watch another ad! So the harder the game gets, the more ads you have to watch to finish the level you’re on. Takes ALL the fun out of the game. Great game, ad inundating, uninstalling and finding a similar app without the bombardment of ads.
It’s a good game but…
Tue Nov 21 2023 Caia2468First, it’s a good, enjoyable game. Relaxing and challenging. I have even enjoyed enough to purchase the no ads option. But there are a couple of thing that need to be changed. And a couple more that should be. First the two that NEED to be changed: - every level should absolutely be solvable with out a boost. Make them hard enough to consider a boost, but don’t require them. However, I do love that you allow enough coins through game play to buy the boosts. That’s a plus. I love the challenge of thinking it through and working through a hard level, but it’s frustrating to find that it’s not solvable own it’s own. I don’t even mind the ad extra holes. - the frenetic, frantic hand pointing at the boosts. I get it. I can use a boost but the pointing insane bouncing little hand is so distracting to the game. This drives me nuts. Should change (nice to have) - the ability to undo moves vs starting over would be lovely. Even if it’s just one or two per game. Thanks for attending my grumpy Ted talk. Overall it’s a fun lovely game and I appreciate it.
