Scrap Divers is a high-octane arcade falling game that challenges your reflexes and precision. You play as a specialized robot diving into the deep, dark pits of an industrial world to scavenge for scrap. With over 15 unique pits to master and a variety of robots to unlock, each with its own handling characteristics, the gameplay stays fresh. Use the intuitive touch controls to maneuver around obstacles and utilize the brake feature to survive the most complex trap layouts. It's a race against gravity and hazards to see just how much scrap you can recover before hitting the bottom.

Our Expert Score

82/100

Scrap Divers is a breath of fresh air in the 'endless falling' genre. Instead of the usual runner mechanics, you're plummeting through 15 uniquely designed industrial pits that feel genuinely dangerous. The physics-based movement is the star here; you feel the weight of your robot as you weave through saw blades and lasers.

What kept me coming back was the progression loop. There are over 15 different divers to unlock, and they aren't just cosmetic skins—they have different stats that actually change how you approach a descent. The 'brake' mechanic adds a layer of strategy that most arcade games lack, allowing for precision in tight spots. It’s challenging but rarely feels unfair, making it a perfect 'one more round' mobile experience.

Hey I love this game it’s awesome the robots are really cool but I been really really wanting to make my own robot but IN THE GAME a lot of people would want to add there own robot to the game and play it so PLEASE PRETTY WITH A CHERRY ON TO PLEASE LET US MAKE ARE OWN ROBOT IN THE GAME. so this is how it would work so we go to workshop button somewhere. Then we ether draw them and make the with parts and we can color them and add their cool thing they can do. SO PLEASE ADD A SANDBOX

Great game! Not as addicting as other mobile games, but I love the features!
Sat Mar 29 2025 An addictive game!

How I found this game was originally from another game from Gear Head Games, Retro Highway! I found it on an ad in the Apple Store and because i am a sucker for retro games, I tried it out. The game told me to maybe try out this game, so I thought, “why not?” And I found a hidden gem! Firstly, it is really artistic and I love the style! Plus, I don’t feel as overwhelmed with capitalism as I did with other games. The story is a nice addition, and the gameplay is fun and addicting. I constantly want to best my high score! I also love the extra robots to switch up gameplay. Now, I haven’t gotten that far into the game, but if there is not any new zones with new obstacles, I think the gameplay needs more of a switch up. I also think having systems like a “Near Miss!“ indicator would encourage risky gameplay like in Retro Highway. I also think an option to bump into walls would be a fun option to switch up gameplay. Overall I love the game and I think Gear Head Games is turning out to be an outstanding game company! (If they don’t sell out to much)

This game has some high potential.

First of all, the art of Scrap Divers is very good. It doesn’t try or even need to have all of these special graphics and 3D aesthetics to the game, but the pixelated retro-style look is all this game needs to look good. Second of all, the gameplay is simple but effective. The different variety of robots even if there are very little as of the time this review reaches the game page, makes up a bunch of replay-ability and even challenges to go for. Lastly, this doesn’t even feel or HAVE to be a mobile game. There are little to no ads, no micro-transactions, no paywall progression, and no Pay2Win robots. If you are bored of bad mobile games, I would HIGHLY recommend this to you.

Pleasantly surprised!

I saw this game a couple of weeks ago. It hadn’t received enough ratings for a app summary at that time. Then, I noticed it featured on the “new games we love” on App Store. I finally decided to download it. I have not been disappointed! I really like the graphics and mechanics! Overall, very good game! Keep up the good work!

Amazing 🤩 but what are the robots names???

The game is good. I like the graphics even that is that I just got this game 1 day ago. But I’ve been wondering 💭 about these 2 things: 1 what are the names of the characters and 2 is that what is their origin about them? Overall the game has amazing gameplay of just a bot 🤖 falling, dodging anything in its path. And plus… THEY ADDED A LINK 🔗 to another game with one of the characters

A good ole time

This game’s got it all: well-crafted pixel art, an engaging gameplay loop, a progression system that’s paced well, great music, and it’s free! Of course, it does have ads, but if you’re able to pay the 3 bucks for the adblock, you also get a bunch of nice perks to go with it. Definitely a good time to be had with this one.
