Scorcher is an infinite racing game from the creator of Inferno 2. Pilot three unique ships through multiple endless canyons, steadily increasing in speed until your reflexes are put to the ultimate test. Featuring beautiful graphics, spectacular particle effects, and a pulse-pounding soundtrack, Scorcher also includes a unique 'Behemoth' mode where you control colossal sandworms.

Our Expert Score

83/100

Scorcher is a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled infinite racer that demands absolute focus. Radiangames has once again proven they are masters of the neon-soaked, high-FPS aesthetic. The sensation of speed is palpable; as your ship accelerates, the world starts to blur, and you enter a state of 'flow' that few other mobile games can replicate.

The addition of the 'Behemoth' mode, where you control giant sandworms to devour sandsharks, is a brilliant change of pace from the standard racing. It’s tactile, responsive, and visually spectacular thanks to the 60 FPS performance and vibrant particle effects. It’s an 'easy to learn, impossible to master' title that will have you chasing your own high scores for hours.

Q&A

It's a secondary game mode where you play as a giant sandworm instead of a racing ship.

Extremely satisfying infinite runner...

I like infinite runners, and it’s been a while since something good, yet challenging has come along. I was hit by surprise with this game. At first glance, it seemed it was going to be too hard. It’s fast and frantic, and crashing happens a lot early on. But, after some tinkering with options and just grinding a bit, I got a feel for the game and it’s an absolute joy to play. The game is already worth the price of admission. The touch controls are flawless and the graphics are top notch. It is pretty, very pretty. The ease of “doing it one more time”, also just keeps me coming back for more. I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes with future updates.

Another classic radiangame title.

Easy to pick up, controls well, pretty and allows your own music (not that the default isn’t fitting.) It’s great for a quick play. It just needs instructions on speeding up the sandworm (I feel like a dullard for not getting past 42 on the first stage.)

Awesome Game!

I’ve been a fan of Radiangames since discovering them through the Indie Games channel on the Xbox 360, and just discovered them again on my iPad. Scorcher is terrific- it looks and sounds terrific and it’s easy to play with an appropriate ramp-up in challenge as you go along. Well done!

I bought this cause it’s premium and looked fun. I thought about asking for a Switch port but I think this plays better on iPad than it would on Switch, but who knows 🤷‍♀️ I just know I enjoy this game.

Seems fun but too hard too early

Why make the second level so frustratingly difficult? Shouldn’t the average player be able to finish a second level in under 30 tries? Could be fun but giving up after finishing only the first canyon. Wish I could have my $3 back.

In a world where the “free-to-play” model has all but ruined mobile gaming, anyone complaining about the $3 charge for this content is (in my opinion & with all due respect) a moron. Cool game, guys.

Absolutely Addicting

This game has a zen-like flow in all of the crazy fast canyon racing going on. I got into ao much I guess I busted out the top leaderboard spot on the 1st track. Excellent game devs! 👍🏻👍🏻

Unreadable UI

The game seems ok. But the UI color palette is too pale and has no contrast in relation to its background. Therefore it’s very hard to see and read any text. I’d like to play the game, but not to be blinded by its scorchness. LOL Some additional settings to control the text color would be welcome.

The game begins with you and one gardener on a small island. It's up to you to build a much bigger island, putting in paths, plants, houses, and more.

The Lego Movie 2 is a fantastic film. Saying any more than that runs the risk of spoilers, since its more interesting themes are explored...
