New Game Mode
Sand Bricks is the definitive 'Zen' version of the block puzzle. Taking the core mechanics of games like Tetris and introducing the 'sand' element creates a gameplay loop that is almost hypnotic. There is something profoundly satisfying about seeing a rigid geometric shape crumble into a pile of granular sand the moment it touches the floor. It removes the stress of 'perfect' block placement and replaces it with a more fluid, organic challenge.
The game offers a great variety of content between the structured Level Mode and the meditative Endless Mode. Level Mode introduces clever obstacles and boosters that keep you on your toes, while Endless Mode is perfect for just zoning out. The 'Toxic Quest' update, featuring acid hazards, adds a nice bit of spice for those who find the core game too easy. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to pick up but very difficult to put down once you get into the rhythm of watching the sand flow.

In Level Mode, focus on the specific objective (like clearing X amount of blue sand). In Endless Mode, focus on keeping your sand piles as level as possible; avoid creating 'towers' of sand that reach the top too quickly.
As you progress, you'll unlock boosters like the 'Bomb' or 'Vacuum' that can clear large sections of sand. Use these when you are close to the top 'Game Over' line to reset your board and keep the run going.
Toxic Quest is a special game mode where acid obstacles threaten to destroy your sand; it adds an extra layer of difficulty to the standard puzzle.
Don’t get me wrong, the base game/functionality is fun. But when you install, it won’t let you play Tetris (“survival mode” is locked) so you get stuck playing these levels that have stupid easy win conditions and you can beat in a minute or less. Then, after *every single level* it makes you watch a full-length ad before it takes you to the next level. I got to a point where I was actually really enjoying the gameplay so decided to look into what it would cost to get rid of the ads, and it’s 9 dollars??? Dang, okay. Annoying enough that I uninstalled since most of my in-app time was watching ads and not playing the game.
Greedy people. Obviously this is a stolen game idea but one could hope that they at least give sone dignity to game. Wrong! Every button you press any time. In the game prompts an ad. And I understand that’s become the horrible standard but whatever. But these money hungry greedy loveless developers decided that they needed money sooooo bad they had to put ads on survival mode too. They will literally interrupt game play to show you an add. They stop the game in the middle of it to just show you ad. So greedy. And if you wanna play the game more than 3 times a day you gotta watch ads just for the privilege of starting the game you just downloaded. And if you can’t stand all that you can pay for ads to be taking away. But It’s not like 1 or 2 dollars like most games like this. It’s 9 DOLLARS. The developers of this game should be ashamed and Apple should stop allowing ad ridden trash like this to occupy their App Store.
I’m going to make this comment short and sweet. I think the game is very satisfying and good to waste time but like every game there has to be an ad ever single level you complete. You can’t even turn off WiFi because they force you to see them. I would buy the no ad pack but making it $8 is totally a scam. I can literally buy a biggie bag and a small chille from wendies. $2 for the no ad bundle would’ve been fair but it’s whatever. I’m probably gonna fade away from this game either way.
I usually don’t take time to review mobile games but this one found a special place in my heart. With an advertisement after every level it quickly becomes very annoying. You know when its faster to close the game and relaunch the game rather than watch the advertisement there is a problem. I have no problem paying to remove advertisements if it was something reasonable like <$4 but they want $9 to remove advertisements. Like no you’re a mobile game while the game is fun it’s not worth $9 just to remove advertisements . It’s way cheaper and way faster to just close the game and relaunch the game rather than watch the advertisements.
This game is fun, but the ads are ridiculous. There are pop up ads everywhere on the screen making it distracting and annoying to play with. There are also a lot of issues surrounding the audio which doesn’t work in my case. Lastly, the fact that you can’t play whilst online is insane, and the reason as to why they do that is so you can’t skip out on the massive amount of ads they shove in your face.
This is a copy of “sandtrix” on pc that they stole, probably not even from the original but another carbon copy mobile game. Originally it’s endless, this game however makes you play 10 levels before that’s even available, of course with an ad after every one. I was willing to accept this as long as i got to play the endless version, presumably with less ads, only once unlocked, you see that there are only a couple tries. I basically said whatever I’ll just play 3 times a day or 12 hours whatever it is, I’m not that interested in the first place just don’t have service on a roadtrip. But when I get like 2-3 lines in my first endless game I immediately get hit with an ad (Mid game! Not even after dying) and just insta deleted. TLDR: There’s probably a version of this game that’s better and doesn’t shove ads in your face every 30 seconds.
The principle is great. I absolutely love it. However, the ads kill it. You can’t stay in a flow with the game when there are 3 forced full length ads in the middle of a game, especially one where timing can be so critical. They aren’t just 5 second ads either. Some of them (the last straw for me) was an ad where you had to wait 10 seconds, click close, click done in the App Store, wait 5 seconds, click close again, click done in the App Store, wait 5 seconds, then click close again. Then you’re back in the game with bricks flying down with no re-entry timer, no warning, no slow down, nothing. Every single time you open the game, you will see an ad; sometimes before you play, but always at least one by the end of a single round. I would support the game devs if they weren’t drowning the game in ads.
I paid (way too much even if it was true) for No Ads so I could just keep playing the survival mode because it sounded fun and relaxing. Unfortunately, I still have to watch ads to be able to play the survival mode more than a few times in a row. The button said I could pay for “no ads” and I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect that there would be zero ads in order for me to play the game. Even on the regular levels, the button for an ad for a bonus pops up. I paid for no ads. Please give me no ads.
