Super Sidekicks on the ACA NeoGeo series is a time capsule of 90s arcade hype. It’s not a 'realistic' football game by modern standards, but it’s infinitely more fun because of it. The 'Ace Shot' mechanic and the over-the-top goal celebrations perfectly capture the spirit of the arcade era. It’s fast, aggressive, and incredibly satisfying to play.
The mobile port is handled with the usual ACA excellence. The virtual stick is responsive, but the game truly shines if you connect a Bluetooth controller. Being able to save and load anywhere makes the difficult later stages of the tournament much more manageable. It’s a hit of pure nostalgia for retro fans and a great history lesson for younger football fans.

Tips & Walkthrough
When you approach the goal, look for the 'Shoot!' prompt. Timing your button press exactly when it appears will trigger a powerful Ace Shot that is nearly impossible for the keeper to save.
Gameplays
Arcade football is about aggression. Don't be afraid to use the sliding tackle to win the ball back, but watch your timing; a mistimed tackle in the box will result in a penalty every time.

Tue Jul 14 2026 MuffinSnorkeLThe auto switch literally makes it impossible to play defense, the computer literally intercepts every pass or fouls while your team ai stand and watch. They stand and watch at your goal also while the computer has the whole team at their goal defending and your team is off in the corners being absolutely useless. Your team ai=useless, computer ai= broken. Want a refund.
