Romi Pro is a fantastic digital adaptation of Rummy Tile games (similar to Rummikub). For fans of the board game, this is an excellent way to practice. The AI is quite formidable, particularly on the higher settings, where it seems to calculate every possible combination in an instant. This forces you to be much more strategic with how you hold and play your tiles.
The 'Pro' version is worth it for the cleaner interface and lack of distractions. The drag-and-drop interface for moving tiles around the board works well, and the game does a great job of highlighting where a tile can be legally placed. It’s a quiet, cerebral game that’s perfect for long flights or commutes when you want to engage your brain without needing an internet connection.

Tips & Walkthrough
Don't always play every tile you can. Sometimes it's better to hold onto a tile to wait for a better opportunity or to prevent the AI from using your move to their advantage.
Gameplays
Drag tiles from your rack to the board to form groups or runs. You can also manipulate existing sets on the board to incorporate your tiles, provided all sets remain valid.

Great game, but...
Tue Apr 21 2020 EjpikeI love this game but gave it four stars instead of five because I wish it had the option of not using wild cards. I also have the computer version that includes that option, so prefer playing on my computer. Any chance that option could be added?
Love the game, but new graphical issue
Sun Sep 23 2018 Sasquatch519Version 2.9.8 introduced a new graphical issue on iPhone XS Max - all the tiles are oversized now. But at least the game still works. It’s one of my all-time favorites.

App won’t close for iPhone X...

Mon Oct 08 2012 auntrocky1I've been Playing this developer's Romi game on my Mac for years. I play it every day, and never get tired of it. I'm so glad to find it for the iPhone. I was worried that the tiles would be too small, but I've played several games now with no problem -- and I have large fingers for a female. Someone mentioned that the tiles could not be moved once placed, but I have not had that problem, so maybe it's been fixed. Someone else mentioned that you cannot see the computer's left-over tiles when the game ends. You can. On the computer version, you would click the hour glass to see what's left. On the iPhone version, click on the little computer icon and you'll see them. I love having a variety of backgrounds to choose from. Thank you, Gerard, for bringing my favorite 'little' game to my phone so I can take it with me everywhere. :-)
