Inspired by the legendary 16-bit soccer games of the 90s, Retro Goal+ puts you in charge of a club struggling to reach the top. You will manage transfers, adjust tactics, and maintain team morale. On the pitch, the game focuses entirely on the attacking highlights. You use an intuitive touch-and-drag system to dribble past defenders, set up crosses, and strike the ball into the back of the net. All premium features are unlocked in this Arcade edition.

The developers took the same genius approach—combining light management sim elements with highly engaging, bite-sized bursts of gameplay—and applied it flawlessly to soccer. By only making you play the attacking highlights, matches fly by in just a few minutes, making it the perfect mobile game for waiting in lines or quick breaks. The touch controls for passing and bending shots feel fantastic once you get the hang of them.
The progression system is highly addictive. Starting in the lower leagues with a team of amateurs and slowly building them up by upgrading facilities and signing international superstars is incredibly rewarding. Having it on Apple Arcade is great because the economy feels balanced; you never feel pushed to buy fake currency to compete. It's pure, retro-arcade joy wrapped in a smartly designed package.
