Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 is arguably the peak of SNK's 2D fighting craftsmanship before they transitioned into the 3D era. The animation is incredibly fluid, and the combat feels heavy and impactful. This ACA NEOGEO port on mobile is surprisingly playable; while fighting games are always better with a controller, the touch inputs are responsive enough to pull off most special moves with a bit of practice.

The 'Two-Plane' battle system—where you can jump between the foreground and background—is still one of the most unique mechanics in the genre, adding a tactical layer to positioning that most fighters lack. The roster is huge, and the character designs are legendary. For fans of classic fighting games, having this entire masterpiece in your pocket for a few dollars is an absolute steal.
