Gotta say you guys out there don’t wanna miss out on this one! Unlike a lot of the other games out there unlike Sniper 3D not all about spending a lot of money all the time and caring less about the player! That being said there are opportunities to upgrade to premium player or simply play for free and watch some ads, not the end of the world guys and gals! If I was to suggest anything to the programmers, I would keep high end, premium players in separate leagues and not mix them in with new players who are not millionaire and simply cannot compete with very sophisticated weapons and gear. The only other suggestion to the programmers would be to include a delete option in both clan chat and event chat, there are times when you may make a typo error and/or make a comment you wish to erase. In closing once again this game you will enjoy for years and these people really care about you never forget that they will always respond to you and your concerns. Have a great day to all our fellow snipers out there and above all else have fun.
I like the game. Nice gui. Similar to others and I hope they keep updating the missions. Like the variety of offline and real-time. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about feeling forced to pay real money. Nope. You can for better guns, but i haven’t seen a need for those. It’s called patience. I like that the developers give the option to do different mission (bomb, riot, contracts, etc) that you can keep playing to get cash. So play those, dont cry about being forced to pay real money when they give people the option to pay or to put in extra effort. I do wish you didn’t limit the number of ads for energy though, my only complaint. If i have time and want to play for a bit, take the ad revenue and let me watch an ad for energy!
Pros: - few ads. waaay less ads than any other game i have - ads are not intrusive. They never interrupt game play. They only happen if you choose to get a bonus or choose to re-up energy before the timer, things like that. - you don’t need to spend real money. I’m on level 13, had this app for years and never paid real money. - gameplay is great, graphics are great - levels are varied, fun, humorous - i like that your energy is limited, forcing you to take a break from the game Cons: - the multiplayer stuff is too difficult for me to enjoy it. - the zombie thing is cool but it introduces a third currency. You have to use regular game money to buy a gun but then upgrades to it require zombie coins and earning them is hard. The whole economy of the zombie section is too challenging and confusing. Let me use my regular game currency and the guns i already have. - pricing of guns And upgrades keeps inflating. Sometimes there’s a rubber band effect that another reviewer pointed out. - you have to get new guns every level, and they’re more expensive than the previous level but you start out with the same horrible stats every time. Why is the level 13 gun just as bad as the level 12 or 11 gun if it costs so much more? The reload time shouldn’t be so bad on a more expensive gun. Overall the pros definitely outweigh the cons by a lot. Just the fact that ads are so not annoying is reason enough to praise the game. Thanks a lot devs and maybe work on those cons
I can’t progress onto the next boss because I need “ required upgrades “, Im on stage 2 and I saved and bought a stage 3 gun, I thought I would be able to progress stage 2 with stage 3 gun without having to upgrade so much like I had to on stage 1, but that’s not the case, there’s way too many upgrades that are “ required “ what’s kind of stupid is that when I click on the upgrade it says “ recommended “ , not “ required “ like the screen before it says, how about making it so both screens say “ required “ since I can’t play without having to upgrade. Too much time, this whole energy system is a crap joke. 2 energy per game that lasts less than 60 seconds, and you only get 1 energy every 10+ minutes. I’m waiting over 24 hours on stage 2 to progress with a stage 3 gun, it’s just not working , I even got the free trial vip that I’m canceling because I don’t see myself playing this game for much longer. VIP only gives you an extra $100 every round, that’s nothing compared to the required $6,000 upgrades that I need more than 2 of. This whole planning development is just garbage!
The game starts out fun and you can play all the regular levels if you don’t mind grinding, which I didn’t. To win at the other modes, PvP and Zombie, you need to pay for more advanced armor and guns but the problem is the armor and guns are outrageously expensive, $20-$60 real money each! It’s so stupid to ask someone to pay that much for in game content but I know people do it. I was part of a team and one teammate told me that order to be good at this game you’ll need to spend about $500 on it which most the people on the team did. I wouldn’t do that so they eventually kicked me off the team because the lack of spending money wasn’t making me competitive enough. I don’t understand how mobile games expect you to pay far more for their game content than Xbox and PlayStation games. I wouldn’t mind buying in-game content for $3-$5 each, but $50?! Come on, that’s just ridiculous. Pretty frustrating, deleting the game now.
Pure Sniper is a compelling mobile sniper game with a lot to offer, especially for fans of the genre who like both single‑player content and PvP. It nails many of the things people look for: satisfying shot mechanics, mission variation, and visual flair. That said, it’s not perfect. The monetization model and energy system can become frustrating. If you’re someone who expects fairness in PvP regardless of how much people spend, or you want long continuous play sessions without interruption, you might be disappointed in those respects. If I were to give it a score, I’d say: Overall Rating: 7.5 / 10 It’s fun and well‑made, especially for casual & mid‑level players. But serious or hardcore players may find things holding back: balance, cost, and repetition.
It’s fun. At the start. The levels are appropriately challenging, and it’s bogged down by the same issues that most mobile games have these days. Rechargeable energy that forces you to come and go from the game constantly, and as many ads as they can squeeze in there. None of that is an issue for me. My issue is that partway through the game. The levels get to be so incredibly fast-paced and difficult, that the only way to beat them is to use the time slow power up. and the only way to get that power up is to spend in-game currency, gold. And really the only way to get gold, is to spend real money on it. What starts out as a fun game, quickly becomes a game that you can literally only beat by spending obscene amounts of money on it. Genuinely, some of the levels are totally impossible unless you have those power ups.
Graphics and interface seem pretty good. After about 3-4 days of playing the upgrades (which you seem to need between every scene) begin to require time delays unless you cough up $$. Technically you can play for free if you’re willing to wait 10 minutes between scenes. But that seems a bit impractical. I get it. They put in the work to develop a game, there is a cost involved. Rightfully so. But with the upgrades needed so frequently there’s no way to know what that ultimate cost will be, or how long you can play before another 10 minute stop, or if the stops will last longer than 10 minutes because when the delays start they are only for a couple of minutes. For all I know the delays could work up to an hour or more. The whole pricing set up seems too Pavlovian if not manipulative. For that reason I set it aside and called an end to the madness.
