To hit a perfect drive, pull back the swing meter and release when the needle hits the sweet spot. Be mindful of the wind indicator at the top of the screen; a strong breeze can easily carry your ball into a sand trap.
Gameplays
When on the green, look at the grid lines to see the break of the land. Moving dots indicate the speed and direction of the slope. Aim slightly 'uphill' to account for the curve and adjust your power based on the distance to the hole.

Feels like real golfing, but occasionally freezes
Fri Oct 31 2025 GristBig improvement with latest update but still has freezes . Putting is just as frustrating as in real life golf. Somehow this developer managed to create a good iOS simulation of real-life golfing by using simple graphics and surprisingly realistic shot making. There is a fairly steep learning curve, just like in real golf, but after playing poorly on several holes I got used to the physics and was able to shoot close to par for my rounds.
