Poker Hands Quiz is a utilitarian educational tool designed for aspiring poker players who want to sharpen their hand-reading skills and internalize probabilities. The app presents you with various card scenarios and asks you to identify the winning hand or calculate the number of 'outs' (cards that improve your hand). It’s not a 'game' in the fun, flashy sense, but it is an effective drill sergeant for your brain.
The UI is very basic and has some quirks—such as cards disappearing immediately after an answer—which can make reviewing your mistakes difficult. However, the developer has been active in adding explanations for the answers, which was a much-needed feature. If you're looking for a quick way to practice poker math on your commute, this app gets the job done without any unnecessary fluff or data tracking.

Explanations provided for each quiz question
Supports 6 languages including English and Chinese

Pay close attention to the 'outs' questions. Mastering these will help you decide when to call or fold in real games based on the likelihood of hitting your card.
The app displays two or more poker hands. Your task is to select which hand wins or identify the specific rank of a given hand as quickly as possible.
No, this is a purely educational trivia app with no real-money wagering.
I need to go back to refrende my hand so I can learn from my mistakes. That’s the point of this app. Needs improvement.
Sad I wasted 99 cents on this. Developer hastily wrote this app with no help system and no explanations of how correct answers are obtained. When it shows answer it does not show the original question. Apple should not have allowed this app into the App store in its current form where you have to pay 99 cents before you can try it out.
Once I answer a quiz on how many outs, it shows the answer but removes the original cards. How do I review the cards on the original question while I am on the answer screen?
