Pocket Land is an exceptionally charming 'pocket-sized' farming sim that manages to feel both relaxing and surprisingly adventurous. It takes the familiar loop of planting and harvesting crops and spices it up with RPG-style quests and, quite unexpectedly, zombie defense! This mix of cozy farming and light action keeps the gameplay from ever feeling too static. The inclusion of helpful pets who gather resources for you adds a layer of 'cute' efficiency that mobile players will love.
The progression is well-paced; as you level up, you unlock new buildings and exclusive recipes that transform your humble plot into a thriving island paradise. The top-down perspective and intuitive controls make it incredibly easy to play with one hand. While the zombie attacks might sound stressful, they are integrated in a way that feels more like a fun puzzle than a hardcore survival threat. It’s a perfect 'tranquil' game with just enough of an edge to keep you coming back to see what your island will become next.

Can’t really say what makes this game so addictive but I LOVE it and just can’t stop playing it. It’s repetitive, but does have some fun things to do here and there. Wish there were more limited time event areas and would be fun to add more than a couple things to do than gathering items. But all I can say is, this game is a blast and very addicting. I hope they keep updating and bring us a bunch of fun content in the near future. Keep up the great work. Must download this game.
The new arena dungeon drop chances aren’t working, although I have higher diamond drop chance from equipment I am not receiving any more diamonds or blueprints. This new arena update is unfortunate because we no longer receive S keys making it not good rewards makes with harder levels doesn’t seem fair. Pets are also very difficult to obtain and they supply board limit which is crucial as you level up, I’m only receiving at best blue pets for free. Most of the useful items are locked behind paywalls making it a hard cash grab, but i want to enjoy this game and see past it. I just ask for a higher free economy for pets and S keys. Keep in mind I HAVE SPENT MONEY ON THIS GAME. I also think workers should be more accessible and or upgrade quicker, i have way to much cash but nothing to upgrade with it, in turn the upgrades are very cheap and we are given too much cash.
I’ve really liked this game. It’s easy to play and is just enjoyable. It introduces new elements fast enough to stay engaged but slow enough to get used to them. It’s nothing complex or ground breaking but still fun nonetheless. I thought it had ads only for bonuses but they gate them until later. I got to around level 40 and they introduced unskippable/forced ads. I usually don’t care but I dinged my review a star because their only option to remove them that I can see is through their $15 premium battle pass type thing that renews monthly. No thanks. Too rich for me. Other than that, I can see sticking with this game for a while and enjoying it from time to time.
First off love their are no popup ads. Overall the game is decent and has potential. I wish the workers mattered more. For example they could be organizing your plantings so they are grouped better which would result in quicker growth. Once you hit a high enough level, 50 or so, finding specific items is challenging so you just run the whole map collecting everything. The map quickly fills up when you aren’t playing. Pets are the only thing that pick up when you are away and they don’t go far enough. They for example won’t go anywhere if you are in the water. This is something else workers could do once they have maxed plantings or at least harvest leaving everything on the ground so they could continue planting.
These phone games give me such a bad feeling. They’re scummy. Always asking for money, always giving ads. This is the case for most phone games. You have to close 3 popups suggesting things you might want to spend real money on when you open the game. There are forced ads. Any reviews that say there aren’t are simply lying. You can watch 10 ads for a gold boost, then you can pay money to watch additional ads if you want. And the gameplay isn’t even hardly gameplay. Having a computer and a switch at home, I get such a bad feeling from phone games. I might play one for a couple hours, but what did I really do? They’re just time wasters. I don’t feel fulfilled after playing little games like this riddled with ads and purchases.
The game is amazing, its easy for kids to play and allows them to be distracted for a while. The game doesnt have annoying ads that pop up every 5 seconds. You can play the whole game with out ever even using any ads. You go around collection farm items to sell to npc’s to earn good or level up or level your farm. The game also has pets and more items. You can connect it to your apple account. One thing i do hope for is to connect it to your fb account or google account so you can play you account on other devices so your family could take time. Also you can earn gems easily by playing the game.
The Farming Frenzy power up is the reason I decided to write (maybe my first) game review. The fact that the timer on the power-up pauses when you take control or leave the app feels remarkable consumer friendly and in good faith to me in a way that I just do not expect from free mobile games these days. Really love to see it! The game itself feels too repetitive and progresses too slowly to feel engaging but also not in a way that makes it rewarding enough to work well as an idle game for me, which is why I didn’t give 5 stars, but I’m sure there’s people who this will connect with.
Most mechanics seem to be a direct rip from similar games. One such example is the gear upgrade feature utilizing merging. Leveling and feature unlocks are gated by a specified upgrade path and a lack of choice on quest completion options: you must complete all quests to level up. Progress is slow and the game is decidedly not free to play, as forced ads begin showing up at frequent intervals (around one ad per minute) and you are hounded via popups to make a purchase. As an adamantly anti-forced-ads player, I deleted the game after three of them showed. Don’t waste your time or money. There are better options out there for spending money and time.
