- The Style : stuck in level 52 fix
- New York City: new backtracking feature
- Boogie Woogie : fix undo during Victory levels
Please, Touch The Artwork is a rare gem that manages to turn abstract art into a deeply engaging mechanical playground. It breaks the 'do not touch' rule of galleries, inviting you into three distinct puzzle games inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian. The first mode is a zen-like journey of color-filling, while the second introduces a complex 'snake' mechanic through Boogie Woogie-style grids. The third, and perhaps most emotional, tells a story of two squares through minimalist movement.
As a critic, I am floored by the developer's ability to translate complex art history into intuitive gameplay. The music is a soothing jazz that perfectly complements the 1920s aesthetic. It isn't just a puzzle game; it’s an interactive art history lesson that feels accessible and unpretentious. The difficulty curve is gentle, focusing more on the 'aha!' moment than on frustrating the player. It’s a masterclass in style and substance.
160+ Hand-crafted puzzles
Three unique game mechanics
Adaptive jazz soundtrack
Color-blind accessible options
In the first mode, remember that colors spread based on the lines. Look for the 'central' square that influences the most neighbors to solve the logic puzzles in the fewest moves.
In the second mode, your goal is to collect all the squares without crossing your own path. It functions like a logic-based 'Snake' game where every turn must be planned in advance.
Yes, its intuitive touch controls and lack of pressure make it perfect for art lovers who rarely play games.
I saw “Please, Touch the Art 2” and after getting it, I got this. This is wonderful. It’s worth the money. I love the art, the games, the puzzle aspect to them. Playing bit by bit. It just finished the Story of Woogie and Boogie (and Victory), and it helped me get out of my head for a bit after dealing with some things surrounding a death in my family. It was just enough lightheartedness to help me break away before getting back into the tasks at hand. Thank you for making something fun. I needed it. 😁
Very interesting- I’ve had fun playing- wish there were more options or guidance perhaps? I felt lost on what to do in some of the galleries. Still very fun though- hence the rating.
Three different puzzle games some more demanding than others. Highly recommend.
The most unique game I have ever played. Surprisingly each game is filled with a meaningful story and well crafted for entertainment. I did not expect this feeling when completing the game:)
Definitely play this game with the sound on! The music really complements the puzzles. This game is a nice way to stretch your brain and maybe learn a bit about art.
Whimsical little game that manages to stay fresh by telling a story through the puzzles. Definitely worth your time!
I never knew how much math was actually involved in those pieces before and I made me want to play the game of Life with color sequences. Very fun!
…by making them harder to see. Change in perspective or darkened screen or busy distractions. Good puzzles otherwise.
