Could be fun, BUT…

This game could be fun BUT one commercial for every wave? Waves can be as short as 10 seconds but ads keep you captive for at least 30 to 60 seconds. So a 6 to 1 ratio of ads to play? Ok, I get ad supported games, and don’t mind them occasionally, but this is just greedy showing so many so often. I cannot recommend downloading this game until the reduce the ad frequency. Pass, deleting. Developer: ads are fine if fair. But there should always be more time spent playing than watching ads. That is not the case here and is in fact just the opposite. Balance this out and I’ll change my score. But for now the game is a FAIL as too much time in ads. And PLEASE don’t past the same answer to me about your ads. Like others, it’s not ads that are the issue. It’s how many. Update: the response from the developer ignored everything I (and others) said here and gave their usual canned response on how ads let them develop games. Totally canned answer and basically saying they will change nothing. I never suggested removing ads. I suggested making them more reasonable. I suggest passing on this developer’s games. They don’t care about players.

Hello, I fairly enjoy playing this game. Hardly play anything else. I would however recommend adding more picture puzzles, they are fun. Do different color blocks too, maybe even add special quest levels. It’s starting to get mundane. After I passed level 100 I hardly get any picture puzzles. The daily puzzles are the same too. Add another type of level to make this more intriguing and keep people motivated to stay and play. As the ads are already motivation enough to close out of the app! Too many ads and game now opens browser randomly on its own

I have been playing this game lot over the last year, in reality, probably too much. The game itself is enjoyable and is a nice distraction. The problem I have with it is the frequency of the ads has gotten worse as I progress on the game and is becoming intolerable. I have completed over 2000 levels on the game. Starting around level 500 the ads were so annoying that I would complete a level close the game and reopen it to avoid seeing the same ad over and over and over again. If this was the only problem I would rate the game 4. Now the game on its own will randomly open up a browser window to a website that is clearly fake/malicious. This makes me worry that playing this game may end up with my phone being infected by malware. I am seriously thinking of deleting the game.

Edit: Yes, there is a penalty for not finishing a level. You’re shown an ad. Hence my assertions the levels are manipulated. Original: This could & should be a great game. Unique concept, good balance of ads, nice music (although I think they stole it from another game, it sounds familiar). All in all, it should be great. But it becomes obvious after 100 levels or so they’re actively manipulating what pieces you get to counter-act your increased skill at the game. After all, every time you fail a level, you get an ad. Can’t reach a point you don’t fail a lot, right? But instead of making the levels harder, they just ensure if you leave all your gaps horizontal you get vertical pieces & if you leave your gaps vertical you get horizontal pieces. A shape which was once frequent won’t show up for ten rounds. That kind of thing. Shame.

Playdoku Game won’t change when you fine up or win. Have asked for help many times. No help at all.

Love this game. Could have played for hours except it hasn’t worked correctly since last week. Too bad I was told it takes a while for someone to fix it. Such a shame. Really good for the brain. May have to find others soon. It gives the same game every single time. I wrote this hoping my phone AND I PAD would be fixed. Happy my phone has been corrected HOWEVER my IPhone still has the same game from over a week ago! I have tried several times to answer the messages sent to me through e mail but it is impossible to get anything across to you. PLEASE correct this on my IPhone as well. Don’t waste your time if you have a problem. After trying several times to get them to fix and understand they closed the request!

Initially I loved this game but as I played it because apparent that the commercial would end it for me. There is no option to buy out and they are the same daily Jerry Springer Trailer Park commercials over and over and over again. The second reason for the lower score is the game does not seem to get more difficult or change over time. I’ve played through the 1000 level and yes it’s slightly gets harder but not by much. It be nice to see levels and evolution over time. The third is daily ranking is universal so a player that has been playing for years is in the same pool as the player that just started and can wip through the levels quicker. So key points the game needs to evolve such as a bigger playing board. Special blocks with special functions. Like maybe an all colored block. Give players the option to opt out of the stupidity commercials that basically want me to gamble or get rich or some other trashy scheme

Dangerous PHISHING Ad Pop-up in Safari

I’ve spent more than an hour reporting this issue to Apple. I don’t mind benign ads. I do mind phishing attempts that claim, “⚠️Your iPhone is infected with 18 viruses!” and ‘⚠️ Your Mac is infected with 18 viruses!” and “unprotected iPhone [Mac] are 93% more vulnerable to suffer from malware“ and “ viruses found on this iPhone [Mac] most likely track Internet activity to collect banking details and login credentials.” and the large red button directs “Renew Norton Subscription”. All of the above statements appear on the dangerous phishing pop-up that appeared on my iPad M4 Pro over 20-times today! Legitimate ads are acceptable, even though the excessive amount of ads is a terrible business practice. Phishing ads threatening users will not be tolerated.

This game would be super fun if not for the ungodly amount of ads. I only made it to level 7 before giving up. While trying to play level 7, every time I touched my screen to move a brick an ad would pop up. These ads didn’t even have an x to close out, I just had to tap repeatedly in the area an x should be before it finally closed. This happened EVERY. TIME. I. TOUCHED. MY. SCREEN. That’s obnoxious. I’m deleting the app because it is entirely unplayable. Note to developers: I understand you want money, who doesn’t? But more people will want to play your game and spend a few cents on an ad block if you don’t harass them with ads every 2 seconds to begin with.
