Our Expert Score

76/100

Piano Cube is a relaxing and visually satisfying rhythm-puzzle hybrid. It doesn't have the frantic pace of games like Piano Tiles, opting instead for a more contemplative experience. You guide a cube through a geometric path, syncing your movements with the beat of the music. The synchronization between the visuals and the audio is the game's strongest suit; it creates a meditative state that is perfect for decompressing.

The music selection is varied and high-quality, though the difficulty spikes can occasionally feel a bit unfair relative to the chill atmosphere the game tries to maintain. The levels are beautifully designed, with color schemes that shift according to the mood of the track. It’s not a revolutionary game, but it’s a very polished and pleasant way to enjoy music while giving your brain a light workout.

VERY interesting idea . . . needs more!

What a great and fun idea! Conceptually I love it — but there are no options right now. It would be nice to be able to assign keys on the piano that fit your solving style. Also — needs more keys for the M slice . . . for solving methods like Roux and M2 blindfold solving. Keep up the good work — I hope to see some little additions in the future!
