PathPix Max is the largest entry in the popular PathPix puzzle series. The goal is to connect pairs of colored numbers with paths of the same color, where the length of the path matches the numbers provided. As you fill the grid, a vibrant pixel-art image is gradually revealed. This 'Max' edition is designed specifically for large-screen devices, featuring massive puzzles with up to 2,000 paths. It offers a relaxing, non-timed experience that rewards logic and patience.

PathPix Max is puzzle gaming at its most zen. It’s essentially a cross between a word search and a paint-by-numbers, but with paths. Connecting the numbers to reveal a giant image is incredibly satisfying, especially on the larger boards that this 'Max' version provides.
It’s the perfect game for listening to a podcast or just winding down before bed. There’s no timer, no pressure, just pure logic. Some of the later puzzles are massive and can take hours to complete, giving you a real sense of accomplishment when you finally see the finished picture. The UI is simple and functional, staying out of the way of the puzzles themselves.

Tips & Walkthrough
Always start with the smallest numbers, like the 1s and 2s, as their paths are almost always certain. This helps define the borders of the image and gives you more clues for the larger, more complex paths in the center of the grid.
Gameplays
If you get stuck, look for areas where only one color can possibly fit. The paths cannot cross each other, so every line you draw narrows down the possibilities for the remaining numbers. The game will notify you if a path is the correct length but in the wrong place.

Latest update is perfect
Wed Jun 06 2018 pluto6Kris Pixton’s PathPix puzzles are all phenomenal. The latest update has a “check” button that determines if there are errors and if you want to manually find and correct, or let the error paths be removed. In these very large puzzles, sometimes the errors can compound themselves so having this check makes it perfect for not getting frustrated when you know there is an error, but you have no idea how far back you have to go.

Sun Nov 27 2016 Slip goddessI absolutely love this app! Each puzzle starts out pretty mindless then gets much more challenging...but not so challenging that you want to give up. This app has spoiled me for the other path pix though. They can not measure up with the intricacy and beauty of these pics. I will buy as many of the path pix max as they want to make!

Sat Dec 28 2019 FFFFFFUUUUUUUU-I love all the PathPix games. PathPix Max is a fantastic and rewarding challenge. The puzzles are huge and require time to complete but are the perfect next step to those who have completed other PathPix games and are looking for the next great challenge.
Favorite Puzzle Game
Fri Apr 22 2016 Lingrush24So much fun and addiction. The promise of being rewarded with art makes this much more interesting than similar games. Challenging but not frustratingly so. My only complaint is that you can't zoom freely; the extreme binary zooming is awkward.
