Partners is a brilliant digital adaptation of the beloved Danish board game. It captures the social tension and tactical depth that makes the physical version a staple in many households. The core mechanic—playing in teams of two where you must cooperate without speaking—translates beautifully to the mobile format, especially in the online multiplayer mode.
The game is a perfect mix of Ludo-style movement and card-based strategy. Swapping cards with your partner at the start of the round is where the real game is won or lost. The app itself is incredibly stable and the matchmaking is quick. If you’re a fan of strategic board games that emphasize teamwork and 'reading' your partner’s intentions, Partners is an essential download for your collection.

In-game chat and emotes
Pass-and-play mode
At the start of each round, you must give one card to your partner. If they only need one pawn to finish, look for '1' or 'split' cards that could help them cross the line.
Sometimes the best move is to use a card to block an opponent's pawn rather than moving your own. Forcing them to waste a turn is a major strategic advantage.
Partners is specifically designed for 4 players (2 teams of 2), but AI can fill empty slots.
Love the game and all the functions work perfectly. I would add a chat function within the game so that players can be more interactive with each other. This will make the game more fun and exciting!
Love this game. Would be perfect to be able to play the 6 pers. Version 🎉
My friends and I were so excited to find a way to play partners from a distance. The one thing we wish the app had was an in-game chat. That would make this the best game app I have!
I love the game and have been playing it for about 6 months.
