We gave things a polish so you can play without pause. Update now for smoother gameplay!
I downloaded this game thinking I’d probably delete it within 24 hours, because I’ve tried similar games and they were bad, but I was wrong. This particular one is really fun and sort of addictive 🤣. Lots of interesting things in addition to moving cars around - you can build/develop land to earn more coins, there’s a scavenger hunt & optional challenges/hard levels. I can’t seem to stop playing ! 🤣 That being said, if I could pay a one-time fee (not a subscription) to stop seeing ads (or at least less frequently), I definitely would. It’s super frustrating to be interrupted to watch ads to get extra moves or to claim double rewards, or claim parts to build my car, etc. ESPECIALLY because it’s the same ads over and over and over. Also, I *hate* the trashy, disgusting ads for the games with zombies attacking women in bikinis, and the ones for the game where half-naked women are in jail and zombies are climbing the walls, so the bikini women start blasting the zombies with machine guns. Every time I see one of these, I want to delete the app that’s showing it to me. They’re disgusting, inappropriate, and just really awful to watch. I’m an adult over age 30 and I don’t watch that kind of trash by choice, so why should I have to sit through it as an advertisement? Once you’re in the ad, you can’t cancel out of it, so there’s no way to just stop watching and lose the reward. It’s gross.
I have played this game for years. It has gotten a lot better, to the point I am playing it for 20-40 minutes most days. Once you pay ($3) to stop the forced ads, the ads are not overwhelming. Yes the ads you choose to watch are the same drivel you get in games, but I largely don’t mind them, as they are my choice to expose myself to them. Game developers have to eat, too. I find the model of Parking Jam much better than so many similar games in this spaceWhere you get far enough and the game forces you to buy things, changing the RNG, so you cannot advance unless you pay them money. I have deleted several games like that, games I played for years (looking at you ‘scapes games). I appreciate that the devs are not just grifters con artists trying to get you to pay money. Sure there are plenty of times I watch ads, but I choose to. Much better than having to pay $100s just to advance. As for the easiness at the beginning, that is super true, but if you play long enough, the levels often get more challenging. I’m currently around level 1800 and the larger levels are generally engaging, if not really challenging. The only ones that are challenging are the bus levels and the of course the hard challenges. I often have to watch an ad or two for more time/moves to finish them, but even now I know I could beat them without the ads, if I really worked at them.
I’ve been playing Parking Jam for awhile—I’m on regular level 7,292 & I have over 6,000,000 coins. I’ve seen several big changes in the game during the time I’ve played—some good, some not so good. But I never cared because gameplay was consistently smooth and the graphics are great; however, the Progressive logos on the parking lots are awful. I’ve gotten better at looking around them but, seriously, they are distracting & just not necessary. I didn’t complain when the island went away—-although, I wondered why the coins are still the biggest prize when there’s literally no use for them! I haven’t complained about the lack of events. I actually really like the daily challenge boards and the trophies for finishing the entire month. I don’t mind the new scoring on the regular challenge levels—because, again, the coins in this game have no purpose that I’ve been able to find since the island is gone. I don’t have a problem with the new hearts/lives feature because I’ve gotten pretty good at playing levels and not bumping cars—I mean, after over 7,000 levels I should’ve gotten a handle on the game, right?! Lol 😆 Anyway, I get advertising is important but I would just like to see the Progressive paint removed from the parking lots…& give me something to spend my millions on 😁
I’ve figured out how to avoid ads if I’m not interested, so the ads don’t bother me as much as they used to, like a lot of other people have said. (This seems like possibly something the developer listened and took into consideration? As well as the type of ads. If that’s the case, thank you!) This is pretty much the only game I ever play. It can be really enjoyable. But some of the things they’ve added in to make it relevant are really turning me off, and it’s only a matter of time before I decide there’s no need to waste my time playing a game. The Golden car is ridiculous. If you let it out too early, it delays the game. You have to wait for it to congratulate you and reward you before you can continue your level, unless you can release it late enough, but sometimes that’s not an option. I find it silly, because I have to release that car regardless. I see no point in the “carnival” or “islands” or really the coins in general. Races or getting to a new challenge level are what drive me to play longer than I normally would. Everything else is a turn off, and too many interruptions makes it not worth it for me. I already shouldn’t be wasting my time playing a game, don’t remind me and make it inconvenient to do the very thing I came to do. 🙃 I really enjoy this game. If the inconveniences weren’t there, it would be truly fantastic in my opinion. (Races have glitched the past two days.)
New update and all my progress on the hard challenges has been lost. I’m not going to unlock and play the 200+ rounds all over again. They were annoying enough the first time around. Wow! Thanks parking jam. Do you delete all negative reviews after a while? We’ll see how long this one lasts since it’s not as negative as my origin review. I was enjoying this new update. I like that there are new harder challenge levels and the hearts/lives thing is pretty cool. What I don’t understand is the stupid time limit on the hard challenge level. Some of those levels take planning and you can’t do that in the insanely short time you give us. I had one level where I had to watch 4 ads to get an additional 15 seconds each. Especially since we have to wait until the pedestrian gets out of the way! That chews up time! Get rid of the stupid timer!!!!!! Also, what is the point of the building portion of the game other than to get coins? I don’t want a whole city of the same ugly gold building! I want to keep some of my buildings at a lower level and then move on to the next building, but you can’t! Every building has to be maxed out before you can build the next one. Then you can’t even edit a building. How ridiculous and boring! Not all houses are the same. That should be changed. There are still way too many ads. I don’t need an ad every two levels.
Parking Jam is an amazing game. It’s got great graphics, cool vibrations and LOTS of events. However, I just reached level 100, and the levels aren’t very hard. I mean, yeah, they’re harder than level 1, but not as hard as they are in the ads for this game. Only the challenge levels are, which are my favorite part of the game. They are strict on mistakes, letting you only make 2 or 3, whereas the normal levels give you about 10 extra moves. And the challenge levels have timers, too, which I enjoy. The graphics are outstanding 👏👏👏. I have 3 things to say that I would change. 1: there are ads after about every other level. And the levels don’t last very long, so that is very annoying. But, they let you skip after about 10 seconds, so I guess I just don’t like ads in my face. 2: When you collect a puzzle piece, it doesn’t always go to the same puzzle. I probably have 10 different puzzles going on. This annoys me because I don’t know when I’m going to finish my puzzle. 3: There are too many events going on at a time. Races, puzzles, there’s a car building one and a Halloween one (this was written on October 25 of 2022) and a bunch of events. Events, events, events. But I really enjoyed this game and it’s a good mobile game, at least for my iPhone 11.
Ok. This game. I can’t even. I like it. But I hate it. It’s like a love hate thing. I just like playing it but it gets boring fast. It’s not what the ads say. I hate it but I love it. I don’t care for the skins. The only thing that really keeps me coming back to playing this game is the grandma npc. She’s amuses me. The only reason I play is to watch her hit my cars. 😂. That’s really the only reason I play. Sometimes it doesn’t load and takes me back to Home Screen. Like what?????? I do enjoy it sometimes and it’s oddly satisfying but most times it don’t load or a choose some other game. (Ik I sound like a robot or smth lol ) But I mean. Ads. Not to many ads. That’s also why I play when my other games send a hoard of ads at meh I just play this for the Grandma and the less amount of ads. Update! Boring. So freakin’ boring. One of my less-played games because it’s so boring. So offense but if your somebody for action please don’t get this game. It might look satisfying and at first it seemed satisfying but the levels don’t get harder, so if you just want a challenge without the move count/timer go someplace else. 🫥🫥. Not even joking though it’s so boring. Don’t get unless you enjoy repeatedly moving cars on super easy levels. the challenges are hard and fun but that’s the only really fun thing. Super laggy, won’t load, and is super boring. Not even that satisfying! 😬😶
I wanted something to do when I was tired and wanted to wind down or de-stress. I was pre-pared to buy the ad-free version but wanted to make sure I would like it first. By level 4 there was an add between “levels” which was moving 3-7ish cars. They have “showed” Me it was a little hand on what to play at the beginning of the first three levels. I didn’t even have a chance to decide if I really liked it or not. The problem with the ads is that it took a while, and then to the Avenue didn’t have a way to get out of the ad. One of them I had to hit go like I was actually gonna partipate with the ad. The next one the only way to get out of it was a hit yes that I wanted to download it from the App Store and then I had to go through canceling that 4 times before it would let me back into the game and I said screw it. I was spending more time with ads than I was on the game and I had barely started it. So I deleted it. It bums me out because I think it may have been fun possibly, but no way to really tell without spending more time on ads than the game to even find out. It would be nice if the ads started out a little bit later, or maybe even if they were just shorter and you didn’t have to click a button to end, That I just automatically returned you to the game when it was done.
