Par 72 Golf III is a masterclass in 'less is more' design. In an era of golf games filled with fantasy courses and over-the-top power-ups, Par 72 sticks to the fundamentals of the sport. The three-click swing mechanic (start, power, accuracy) is a classic for a reason—it works perfectly on a mobile screen. The 3D hills and valleys aren't just for show; the topography significantly affects your lie and the ball's roll.
The game includes several distinct courses (Mountain, Desert, and Seaside), each requiring a different tactical approach. The wind physics are particularly punishing, forcing you to play strategically rather than just aiming for the pin every time. The graphics are clean and functional, ensuring that the game runs smoothly on a wide variety of devices. It’s a pure golfing experience that rewards patience and course management.

When putting, look at the grid lines. If they lean to the left, the ball will break left. Adjust your aim slightly uphill to account for the curve.
Tap once to start the swing, again to set the power level, and a final time to lock in your accuracy at the 'snap' point.
Yes, you have a full set of clubs including woods, irons, wedges, and a putter.
Lots of streaks and lines on the screen, some buttons don't work. Fun but there are probably better golf apps.
Great way to pass time. The challenge is trying to double eagle the par 5s.
I've been looking for a good golf game. Not too simple, not too hard. This game has no instructions and I can't figure out why I'm hitting the ball poorly. I wish I had known it wasn't worth $2.
After the color fix for iPad, this has become my favorite game. I only wish I could nail my chip shots and hole in ones like I do on the game. Every 19th hole should come with a couple of iPads and this game. You guys rock.
Terrible game, can't believe I spent $1.99 on it. Don't get it.
