Number Gun is a clever and fast-paced 'math-runner' that manages to make quick addition and subtraction feel like a high-speed arcade game. The premise is a fun twist on the runner genre: you control a gun that fires numbers, and you must shoot through gates to increase your firepower before a final showdown. It’s a great example of 'educational gaming' that focuses on the 'gaming' part first.
The tactile feel of the numbers merging and your weapon evolving is very satisfying. The difficulty curve is well-tuned, requiring you to make split-second calculations as you weave through obstacles. While the core loop is simple, the variety of 'final bosses' and the constant stream of new weapon skins keep the game feeling fresh for short bursts of play. It’s the perfect game for sharpening your mental math while getting your adrenaline fix.

Tips & Walkthrough
Always look for the 'Multiply' gates first, even if they are in a dangerous position. A small multiplier is often worth more than a large 'Add' gate, as it scales with all the power-ups you've collected earlier in the run.
Gameplays
Spend your collected cash in the main menu to upgrade your starting number and fire rate. Having a higher base number allows you to break through the early 'barrier' blocks much faster, keeping your momentum high for the harder late-game sections.

Mon Nov 20 2023 Gunnar hassingI’ll be the first to admit. I’m a sucker for cheap, low effort phone games. Stuff that obviously reuses assets they used for other games and whatnot. But this. This is the most unfinished one I have tried. Let me list it all off. - you can count the number of sound effects on both hands, barely needing the second hand. -there is no music at all -the game forgets your settings every time you close it. There are only two settings, how did they get this wrong? -the game can’t process numbers after a certain point. Instead using shorthand. For the ending run of a level that means those pillars take a single hit. For the shapes in the first third of a level it means they stop increasing. -there is a shoehorned in Tetris base… thing to upgrade your gun further. This feels like one person made it in a day for a quick cash grab. I have never regretted spending money on anything as much as I have this. Dev(s), take this game. Start over from scratch with the idea, and make a proper game with an actual team working on it. This could’ve been awesome, but right now it feels and looks like a demo of a proof of concept.
Great way to kill time
Wed Sep 06 2023 OBSTahoe95I’m loving this game have been playing for about two weeks i would say and haven’t had any issues… that is until the new update came out, it seems like I will randomly lose the ability to hit the gates and blocks in order to upgrade them. If that issue were to be resolved then this would be a 5 star worthy game in my opinion!
Honestly not worth it
Sun Jan 14 2024 someone not hereThere are a few problems with this game, first is that the ads will override any currently playing audio like music and play the ad instead. Ads that do not override audio will play the ad audio much louder than necessary making it hard to hear anything. Also the game drains battery like crazy and makes devices over heat. Fix your games and maybe you can get something at least half decent to play.
Good time killer
Sat Jul 29 2023 lsmith2099I like playing this game when there is some time to kill and need to make it go quicker, thought the machine gun at the end isn’t unlockable (I got to the end and nothing happens with it) so I don’t really know what that is supposed to do. But it is a pretty fun game either way.
Maxed out the game
Thu Nov 16 2023 Axis2KThe max multiplier is 22 and addition is 25 and I can’t merge past 16k I’ve probably made this company $500 with all the ads I’ve watched please increase the maxes there’s no fun in playing anymore. I don’t even get the plus 50 years when I win now.
