Nubby's Number Factory is a captivating blend of puzzle strategy and roguelike mechanics. You play as Nubby, managing a factory board where every tile can be upgraded with unique buffs and modifiers. The goal is simple: create a synergy of numbers that multiplies exponentially to reach the target score. With every run, you'll discover new combinations of 'Tonys' (power-ups) and areas that change how you play. Originally a hit on PC, this mobile version brings the same addictive gameplay with optimized touch controls, making it the perfect 'just one more run' experience for your phone.

Our Expert Score

94/100

Nubby's Number Factory is the definition of a hidden gem. If you enjoyed games like Balatro or Luck be a Landlord, you will absolutely fall in love with this. It takes the abstract concept of 'number crunching' and turns it into an incredibly satisfying, visually charming puzzle game. There is nothing quite like the dopamine hit of watching your score jump from the hundreds into the millions because you finally landed that perfect synergy.

The mobile port is excellent. It plays beautifully in short bursts, though you might find your 'quick game' turning into an hour-long session. The art style is quirky and full of personality, making the factory feel like a living place rather than a sterile puzzle grid. While I’d love to see a portrait mode for one-handed play, the current landscape layout works perfectly for managing your board. It’s a deep, rewarding, and highly addictive game that I can't stop recommending.

Never heard of this game until I decided to check out some reviews on Steam. Super high ratings there. I almost passed on it originally because the game icon looks so cheesy. Boy, am I glad I didn’t judge this book by its cover. This game is up there with Balatro. Super, super addictive and I can’t stop playing it. It oozes charm and uniqueness also. Yes, I’d love a portrait mode where the graphics would focus on the board more than the frame (the frame fills most of the screen while the game board is pretty small). It just seems like a waste of space. All the quirky animations would be so much more glorious if enlarged too. Still, a five star game and nearly perfect.

Sooooo addictive/ My 1st review

I never write reviews as this is my first one. This game is one of the most addictive phone games I’ve ever played. I’ve watched YouTubers play it, but it’s even more addictive/worth it than I thought so I bought it. Best $5 I’ve ever spent. Only thing I’d say could improve is adding a portrait mode, and adding a new way to aim/shoot nubby. Other than that, I’ve wasted so much time on this game already and can’t wait to waste more! Edit: You a real one for adding the new aiming MogDog

The best game of Computers is now on Phone

This game is genuinely one of my favorites besides Coin Pusher Casino. The only improvement for this release would be the implementation of a vertical mode. It is kinda hard to aim with the nubby so small. Also, perhaps a system where to fire you tap the screen with your off hand, much like the game on pc has you using the secondary mouse button to aim and the primary to fire!

I have never rated any app i have downloaded before but this one is worth it. i bought it on my computer and decided it was good enough to buy again and i do NOT regret it. my only criticism of the computer version was that i could not carry it around in my pocket and now i can. genuinely one of the most entertaining games i have on my phone.

Great on PC, needs improvements here.

I love this game and have so many hours of it on pc, so I'm just gonna skip that part and jump into the criticisms I have of this port. It plays well, doesn't make my phone overheat and runs pretty stable. My only real problem with it is how small the play space is. I feel like reorganizing the ui so that the game could be played in a vertical screen orientation rather than horizontal would solve this issue. It would be easier to aim with precision and read the text.

this game is absolutely amazing. I hope to constantly see you updates from the developer. He didn’t absolute amazing job. I can’t wait to see if there’s more Tony’s or more new buffs that you can get new areas all sorts of things. This is absolutely a beautiful game please keep up the great day of work and I would definitely have paid more money for this game.

I like the game I have on computer

However, the game cannot go from being horizontal to vertical. I would’ve loved to play this vertically than horizontally, especially on the phone. Hopefully MogDog sees this! Hopefully my worship to him has been enough for him to see my weary eyes and know, vertically gameplay, would be awesome. Anyways it’s an amazing game regardless! You should definitely download it! It’s worth more than $5

Portrait mode

I love this game have almost 100 hours on pc. I’ve been excited for the app since it was announced. I’m giving this 4 stars out of 5 because there is a (in my opinion) glaring issue. There’s no option for portrait mode. That’s a huge missed opportunity. Developer if you’re ready this please implement portrait mode. Change the board layout if you have to.
