Nova Golf is a breath of fresh air for mobile golfers who want something between a cartoon arcade game and a dry professional simulator. The 3D environments are lush and remarkably detailed for a mobile title, especially the lighting effects during sunrise or sunset rounds. The swing mechanic—a touch-and-swipe system—is one of the most natural-feeling interpretations of a golf swing I've played.
What really impressed me was the RPG-style character progression. You aren't just playing rounds; you're building a golfer. Earning skill points to put into your 'Power' or 'Accuracy' adds a layer of long-term motivation that many golf games lack. The physics on the greens are honest—if you misread a slope, the ball reacts exactly as it should. It’s a sophisticated, relaxing, and deep sports sim.

Tips & Walkthrough
When putting, look at the moving grid lines on the green. The faster the dots move, the steeper the slope. Aim your putter to the left or right of the hole to account for the 'break' of the ball.
Gameplays
On long drives, check the wind indicator at the top of the screen. If you have a strong tailwind, you can use a lower-lofted club to get extra distance. If hitting into the wind, add one extra club to your selection.

Ok, but Needs upgrade
Tue Jan 21 2020 NorthMIThis game isn’t bad for 2 bucks. I bought it and enjoy it except for the putting. The game has some nice courses and decent but dated graphics. What I like is that it is a pure golf game without ridiculous things like special balls, or challenges although you can have up to 4 friends play. I just like to play solo which I can. No account to sign in to but it still keeps your best scores stored locally. My biggest gripe is the putting. It is way too difficult to “read” putts with their grid and moving dots. I have 4 putted some greens! The developers need to update this as well as add some “famous” courses. No updates in 4 years so maybe the developers have abandoned this game
Not The Best!
Tue Feb 16 2016 atabor27Although Nova Golf is a good game, it isn't the best. I like being able to add spin to my shot, which is one thing I haven't been able to do. Other then that, I like playing it.
3/4 of the screen
Wed Aug 30 2023 RoECJrI love the old game except the putting. Tried the new game lite and thought it was okay but definitely needed full screen to appreciate. Well I bought full version and the game itself is still only 3/4 of the screen. I emailed the team and have not heard back. I’m going to ask for refund. Too bad, I love the no frills golf games. They are hard to come by. This would have been a welcomed version.

Horrible Cash Grab

Yeah it’s only $2 but this is a very misleading and disappointing game. Be careful with games by this company. A lot of work needs to be done here and perhaps a good look at their moral compass

Mon May 09 2016 ZztpperThis game needs a lot of work and fine-tuning on the programming. A lot of times you can barely find the flagstick and when the flag is out the whole is impossible to see. The bar to get the center of the club is ridiculous to operate.
New courses
Sat May 14 2016 Duderman99I just bought several courses. How do I get to them? I don't always wants to play tournaments but just have fun. Why why select PRACTICE I get the same darn course? How do I change things. This is not very intuitive. Need some help please. :)
