Bug fix that was preventing the game from loading on older iPads.
Note Climb is a clever blend of a rhythmic timing game and a vertical platformer. The 'notes' aren't just for show—they act as the platforms you must scale to reach the top. It feels like you’re playing a piece of music as you climb, with each successful jump contributing to a melodic progression.
The challenge lies in the 'steadily increasing difficulty.' Just when you think you’ve got the rhythm down, the game introduces faster tempos or disappearing notes. The visual feedback is very satisfying, with the notes lighting up and providing a pleasant chime upon landing. It’s a very zen experience that still requires a decent amount of focus and skill. For anyone looking for a platformer that feels more like an instrument than a challenge, Note Climb is a great pick.
Rhythm-based platforming with musical note elements
Polished levels that increase in melodic complexity
Satisfying audio-visual feedback for every successful jump
Intuitive one-tap controls for easy accessibility
The platforms move in time with the background music. If you find yourself missing a jump, try to close your eyes for a second and just feel the beat of the track—it will tell you exactly when the next note will be in reach.
Chaining multiple successful jumps in a row will build your 'Melody Multiplier.' This not only increases your score but also enhances the background music with additional instruments.
While not required, headphones are highly recommended to better hear the rhythmic cues that help with timing.
