Nocturnals is a masterclass in atmosphere. From the moment the rain hits the neon pavement in the opening scene, you are sucked into this world. The writing is sharp, cynical, and perfectly captures that hard-boiled noir tone without feeling like a caricature. It's rare to find a mobile game with this much narrative weight.

The branching paths actually feel substantial. Decisions I made in the second hour of gameplay came back to haunt me in the finale. The hacking minigames provide a nice break from the dialogue, but the real star is the character interaction. It’s a dark, beautiful journey that proves pixel art can be just as expressive as the most advanced 3D graphics. If you like Blade Runner or classic adventure games, buy this immediately.

It’s not a bad game, poorly optimized and crashes or freezes a lot also the controls aren’t very responsive. The way the characters react to your choices isn’t very realistic and kinda dumb most of the time. For example if someone put a gun in your face and you responded kindly and then threatened them after they will later respond saying you threatened them even though they actively had a gun shoved in your face and constantly threatened to kill you. Game is somewhat enjoyable but for the amount of times it crashes or freezes I don’t think 3 dollars is a fair price I would say 1 dollar at most until the issues are fixed I’m playing on an iPhone 16 Pro and the description says the game is optimized for 14 and up. Well that was a blatant lie. I hope the developers fix the issues because their is issues that should be easy to fix but if you’re okay with spending 3 dollars on a game that lags, crashes and freezes along with no real consequences for your choices then buy the game and I hope you enjoy it!

Good but laggy

The game is good but it was very laggy. After every cutscene, quick time event or choice I had to make, I would have to go to settings, get out and then tap the screen a couple times for it to continue. Sometimes the subtitles would be ahead or behind the words they were saying but if I took the subtitles off I wouldn’t know what they were saying bc the sound would cut off sometimes. Also the quick time events were less exciting. Maybe it was laggy bc I’m on my phone and not on a pc like the game was originally on. But if they fixed the lag then it’d be a really good game

I can tell the game is probably good based off of the one time I got to play for like 2 minutes other then that I can’t really tell. My game is bugged or glitched or I’m cursed whenever I try to play I can’t even continue barley load ip like 10 seconds of the very first cut scene and then my screen flashes white then goes black and I’m back to the title screen like I’m barley loading into the game. There was only one time I was able to play for a bit and when it happened I couldn’t even start from were I left off forcing me to watch the cutscene it turning black then I’m back at the main menu making it a infinite loop making the game practically unplayable for me.

One scene is extremely frustrating and ruins the game for me

Maybe this is a skill issue and maybe it is more do-able on PC rather than mobile, but the scene where you have to crawl to the vent to avoid being seen or heard is extremely frustrating. I've been stuck on it for days and I'm starting to think the controls don't let you move fast enough. I'm very frustrated and will probably uninstall the game and watch a playthrough instead. Great story, I just don't think the controls were adapted to mobile well enough to make the game enjoyable.

I FOUND A GAME BREAKING BUG!

During the scene where you are chased by Maggie and you have to crawl through the gate to escape. Every time I get to the hole in the gate the game won’t stop loading even though the scene is still running. I can’t do anything because it’s stuck on the loading screen and Ted gets killed because of that please fix this only then I will rate the game 5 stars. Update they fixed it I’m changing my rating to five stars!

I truly loved the story-line. It was beautiful, I found the game from a YouTuber Playing it and had to try it, I just got it today and already have half the endings. Yes, it is a bit buggy in some of the spots, like the scene where ted first seen the auditorium. But overall not a lot of bugs! My first ending was Diego’s death Which struck me. Definitely gonna need a plot after they leave ruddleside! Loved it!

I apologize if I’m being rude, but there are a lot of lags the cuttings go faster and also sometimes the game lags a little bit. I really hope you guys can fix this I apologize if i’m being rude but to be honest I’m really happy I got to play this game. It is really fun! You two did very amazing!!

This game as reviews said it would do the same thing to me at the loading screen but then you have to reset your game I reset in my game and it worked perfect and I completed the game in an hour fun and I hope more comes to this and more games like this
