Ninigrams is an absolute masterpiece of minimalist puzzle design. Mobile storefronts are flooded with puzzle apps that overwhelm you with obnoxious pop-up ads and flashing microtransactions, but Ninigrams respects the player. It delivers a clean, incredibly smooth, and deeply relaxing logic grid environment that lets you zone out and focus.
The controls are wonderfully precise, which is a major factor for larger 20x20 grids where accidental taps can ruin a perfect run. The art style of the hidden pictures is delightful, and solving each puzzle brings a great sense of accomplishment. It has quickly become my go-to app during my morning commute.
Hundreds of beautifully hand-crafted puzzles ranging from 5x5 to 20x20
Ultra-clean, modern user interface with dark mode support
Helpful accessibility options like smart hints and undo/redo buttons
No forced ads or time constraints for a truly relaxing experience
Always begin with the largest numbers on the grid. If a grid row is 10 cells wide and the clue is 10, fill the entire row. For numbers greater than half the grid size, calculate the overlap cells to guarantee your first correct blocks.
Using logic and basic arithmetic, players tap to fill cells or cross out empty blocks. Once every row and column aligns perfectly with its respective numeric clues, the grid animates into a full-color pixel masterpiece.
No, every puzzle in Ninigrams is hand-crafted and checked to ensure it can be solved entirely using pure logic without random guessing.
My fingers too fat for the squares😅 great app
