NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition continues the streak of being the best sports game on Apple Arcade. What I love most about the Arcade Edition is what's *not* there: the microtransactions. In the console version, MyCAREER can feel like a 'pay-to-win' grind, but here, your progress is purely based on how well you play. It makes the journey to the NBA Finals feel much more rewarding.
The inclusion of 'Eras' in The Association is a brilliant touch, allowing you to manage teams from the 90s or 2000s. The gameplay itself is smooth, especially if you use a controller. While the touch controls are serviceable, a PlayStation or Xbox controller makes it feel like a true console port. The graphics are top-tier for mobile, with recognizable player faces and detailed arena lighting. It’s a deep, complex, and incredibly polished sports sim that you can spend hundreds of hours on.
