My Talking Hank: Islands takes the beloved virtual pet to a massive open-world setting. Players must care for Hank by feeding him, taking him to the bathroom, and tucking him into his hammock. Beyond basic care, the game features a deep exploration system where Hank can travel across various islands to discover wildlife. The goal is to collect photos of all the animals inhabiting the island, using various toys and food to lure them out of hiding.

Outfit7 has successfully pivoted the Talking Tom formula with My Talking Hank: Islands. Instead of just a vertical room, we now have an expansive tropical world to explore. As an expert in virtual pet sims, I’m impressed by the level of interactivity; Hank doesn't just stand there, he interacts with the environment, jumps into the ocean, and discovers hidden secrets.
The photography mechanic remains the soul of the game, but it feels more organic here. Scouting for rare animals across different island biomes adds a 'Pokemon Snap' layer of depth that keeps older players engaged while the core caretaking loops remain perfect for younger audiences. The visuals are lush, and the animations are some of the most fluid in the genre.

The old map was so good
Thu Jan 23 2025 😁💄🐾Ok I like that when you first start the game you gave him clothes because it used to just be a dog without clothes and it was kind of just like OK. I get it like you should buy the clothes like OK but we need some clothes when he first comes out, but I don’t like that you took out the Savannah part where you could go to the Savannah and take pictures. I like all the new stuff but you should get that back. OK this one is for any of these games can you make the naps in the game like a couple minutes long like two or three minutes long cause I don’t wanna sit there for like an hour waiting for this stupid dog to wake up from his nap of course I don’t actually mean he’s stupid but like I don’t wanna sit there just waiting for this dog to take a nap and then wake up like a nap is not an hour long oh yeah, could you like get in a smoothie machine? Oh yeah if you’re like the people that make all these games can you get a talking Becca game she’s low-key kind of my favorite OK but if you’re playing Tom Friends with like all the characters, if you dress up Hank like a girl he straight up looks like a girl and thank you for making it. Look a lot more child friendly I mean like you made it more animated and not like this is from the 1900s kind of style which I love so that’s all I needed to write about

Thu Jun 21 2018 aprilboughtonOk guys there is NO hacker or creeper on talking hank if you believe there is cover up both cameras on you device however, there is a hacker on talking Angela for iPad where she's at a cafe in France but it can't see you if your cameras are covered and they can't see you after you exit also, talking ginger 1&2 is hacked very badly because if you screenshot it then look very closely you see a hooded figure in a swivel chair and to those who say it's a reflection you wouldn't be in a swivel chair in a black hood seeing a white mask on yourself and you know how ginger isn't supposed to talk unless you have mic on well I didn't and people have heard him say "remove (whatever is covering your camera) so I can see you" and it has been a dark deep voice!! Be aware of those games because if you don't believe me try it yourself go ahead put your family and everyone around you in life threatening danger! You think this many reviews about him? And you still say there's no hacker on any of these? And to be CLEAR it's NOT the developer!! He's a kind man to all of you who like these games even to who don't we aren't trying to spread rumors this started happening about 5 yrs ago you think if it was false people wouldn't still try to spread it but sense then people have been kidnaped and reported dead on news and from parent reviews so if you see him report it, and ASAP delete it but the ones that aren't hacked are the following talking Angela (where she's at home) talking Tom talking Ben and talking Hank also talking Tom 2 is not hacked if you have the device on child mode for ginger, and the other Angela in France it's hard to see the hacker because he's tiny so kids wouldn't expect it but he's always there and trying to get kids listen guys, there are some bad, sick, crazy people out there so please stay safe

Mon Jul 08 2024 SpyroshmirtzWhile I do love the new editions, it would be nice for players to be able to play the old version, since that one was good too, there’s nothing wrong with it! Like how you made the other sequels, why didn’t you do that with this? Maybe make an app called Talking Hank Classic and make this one the sequel, because I loved the original! That said, I do like the changes. I like that you can interact with the animals now and you can wander around and collect things, making this the closest thing to a mobile Spyro game for me 😄 also giving Dragon Land vibes which is nice! I love this remake, but other remakes don’t ditch the original. Bring back Talking Hank Classic! You don’t have to get rid of the new one, just make the old one available again in a new app for us diehard fans. -DoofenSpyroDragon

Mon Aug 05 2024 THELICEISNICEwithrice0First thing’s first, the whistling, humming, really ANYTHING related to music in these games are KILLING my ears, nerves, and head. Hank is not cute especially now, there aren’t many ways in which the notifications alter, and why make games where properly, all the clothes are taken off when entering the bathroom (specifically Tom 2), and then just make sure the clothes stay on afterwards? Also, the notifications are so lacking in alterations, it is kind of insane. Even the 2nd Talking Ton game has 3 or more different notifications for almost everything. And Angela 2, well, it lacks notifications in general and the game itself doesn’t really make sense. This game is no better. Ugly when he sleeps, ugly when he walks, blue is even my favorite color and I’m saying this. And 1 very uncool thing, there is no growing up. It’s like these games just got downgraded. If there’s any child I care about, I will tell them not to play this. Because it’s not even fun and the fart sounds are the only funny thing in there. Even the way Hank falls is cringeworthy. And that notification thing, I don’t know what happened as it updated to this abomination, but they weren’t even working until I redownloaded it and lost pretty much everything.

Fri Oct 10 2025 Thegreatgamer72725PSA i use to love my hank before the junk update came I remember still I was having fun in 2019 & even 2020 during the covid pandemic 😭😭😭😭😭🥺🥺😢I really was hoping you guys would make a my Hank 2 but you guys instead made a game I don’t even know at all there’s absolutely nothing similar about this app it’s for ages 2-6 the previous version was for ages 4-anyage and I actually feel bad giving this 2 stars but I wanted to let you guys know outfit7 i’ve been playing your games since September 2011 back when I was 6 years old I loved the first Talking Tom game i’m a fully grown adult now and I would’ve played this game if you guys never gave it this update even as an adult well done you’ve hurt my childhood if you guys just updated the game and made it enjoyable for all ages I would like it but I just wanna let you know this is not a critical review in the traditional sense I just wanna let outfit7 know if you made an update similar to the previous one in anyway that would mean the world to me do you know how much it hurts a kid’s dreams when their favorite app is taken away and they think they’re updating their app to a better version that hurts I also know you guys have been removing some of my childhood favorites like Tom Jetski 2. Tom Candy Run. Tom’s love letters in this year oh and by the way, I still have your old apps installed coz I feel like in this game you guys all lost hope and rushed it way too quick heck you guys might’ve used AI for this game not in the previous version, but in this version so my Feedback is update the game and give it character like the classic old games you guys made or just don’t listen to me but if you guys do listen to me i’ll be forever grateful thank you for reading this review.

Sat Jun 04 2022 dooit3As you can see, My favorite character on the show and the shorts is talking hank the game is amazing but another idea of a great game is my talking Becca or my talking Ben where just as the other games you raise them as a baby Just a suggestion don’t have to listen to me so now some ideas to upgrade this amazing game you should let players have online play so you can take pics of animals and compare or eat a meal together and have a fun time rather then be alone Another idea would be if your in a no internet zone there’s invite hanks friends like Tom Angela ginger Becca and Ben More ideas would be a dance party with all of hank muses(the animals) or the people you play online with or hanks friends Tom Ben Becca Angela and ginger Another suggestion more games like hanks restraunt it’s like a game where you serve food to customers before time runs out or monster hunt hank saw monsters under his hammock it’s up to you to help him find them More ideas would be worldwide trip which means visit other hanks from around the world My last idea is name that animal! Use your skills of identification to name the animal and type of animal So in conclusion I hope you like my ideas and keep making such great games and never give up! Love it but bugs still
Sat Dec 23 2023 gacha life💕💘Let’s just say this:I get this app cuz I thought it was ok with it so I play the game but..1. Why does hank sleep long? 2. He loses energy so quickly and 3. Why does he love animals? He loves taking pictures of animals but why? Anyways as what I saying I put him to bed and was waiting for him to get up but he sleep too long and the next day he gave me a notification that he needs to pee I was gonna to help him to go to the bathroom but one problem is I can’t click anything I can’t click the bathroom the food or games so I play my talking Angela2 and he gave me 4 Notification that he needs to pee I try and try but can you plz fix that bug cuz I can’t click anything in there I feel bad for hank because he needs to go to the bathroom but I can’t click anything plz fix bug😫😫!!
Change Isn’t Always Better
Sun May 24 2026 SKULLlVANI don’t know why you decided to completely revamp the “My Talking Hank” game, but I don’t like it. I miss the old game. The gameplay was actually unique and fun—even if it took long. I liked taking photos of animals, growing my photo collection, and playing the old mini-games. I absolutely love slow-grind games, and this was my favorite to play when I was little. I remember getting so excited when a legendary animal appeared on my island. I went to redownload the game about a few months ago, only to find that it was completely changed. All of my hard work and progress was gone; my photos, my money, my clothes and accessories. To make matters worse, the mini-games in this new “My Talking Hank” are played in the same way that the other modern games are. I understand it’s meant to appeal to this current generation—the iPad kids and ADHD driven society—but I miss the old game. I wish that you would’ve just made a “My Talking Hank 2” instead of changing the original app entirely. I know for a fact that the developers aren’t going to read this, but I just needed to get this off my chest. People are going to ignore this entirely. Most of those who are leaving reviews probably have no idea what I’m talking about anyways. I had spent the past few months trying to find some redeeming qualities in this newer version, but nothing compared to the slow grind of the old “My Talking Hank.”
