My Supermarket Simulator 3D is an surprisingly immersive first-person management sim. Unlike many 'idle' games, this requires you to be hands-on: you physically unload boxes, stock the shelves, set the prices, and even work the checkout counter. There’s a strange, meditative satisfaction in perfectly aligning your cereal boxes and making sure the dairy section is fully stocked before the morning rush.
The game does a great job of simulating the 'business' side too. You have to monitor market prices to ensure your margins are healthy, and as you earn more, you can expand the store and hire staff to help with the workload. The 3D world is functional and bright, and while it won't win any awards for realism, it provides a very solid and addictive 'job sim' experience that makes time fly by.
First-person 3D store management
Dynamic pricing and inventory system
Realistic checkout and payment mechanics
Store customization and expansion options
Staff hiring and management
Check the computer daily for market price fluctuations. Pricing your items slightly above the market price will increase profits, but go too high and customers will complain at the checkout!
Your day starts with ordering stock. Once the truck arrives, carry boxes to the shelves. Make sure to keep the store clean and the shelves full to maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
Yes! You can move shelves, refrigerators, and displays anywhere you like to create the most efficient shopping path.
This game is probably my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. Everything about it is so fun and it feels so realistic most of the time and the best part is they actually listen to their consumers!!! A few weeks ago I had been scrolling through the reviews to see if anyone else had been encountering an issue that I had and I read some suggestions that people were commenting for better gameplay. A few days later I noticed that some of the things people mentioned were in the new update! They even have a discord you can join to get some behind the scenes stuff and get kind of more personal with the players. I purchased the option to remove ads because it was offered to me for only $5 and it was honestly the best $5 I’ve ever spent. Without the ads the gameplay is so smooth and effortless and I don’t even mind having to watch ads for deliveries because I can just put something on in the background and watch that while I binge the ads. The only thing I find tedious is it moves my storage product around after closing the app or not playing for a certain period but it’s not too bad because I haven’t gotten all the licenses yet. But it might get a little harder soon because my store is getting kinda big 😅. Great game though! I really hope it keeps growing and adding more licenses and features.
This game had potential to be a ton of fun. It misses the mark with a few things. I’m not even gonna say anything about the ads that pop up, that’s to be expected. You don’t want ads? You gotta pay money. If these things get taken into account, I will bump up the rating to a full five stars. This one is mainly for people starting up their store. You start with just two shelves. One specifically for fruits, and one for the cereal. You start with $40, fine. Don’t make the customers flood in at the start. Make only a couple only be able to be in the store at any given time. You fully stock those two shelves and the products are gone in just a couple of minutes. When you add on the fact that when you place an order to restock the shelves, you gotta wait up to 2 minutes, for the box to even show up, so on day 1 you are constantly closing and opening the store so you can get your shelves restocked. My second place of complaint is that there are no stickers on the shelves when you place a product. Especially when you get a really good store going, it could be VERY difficult to remember what is supposed to go where, cause when that product is gone, there’s nothing to indicate what was there. Honestly, if those things got fixed (Starting off with a few customers, not having to wait so long for a product to arrive, and having a sticker remain when the product is out) I would pay to remove ads, and give this a 5 star rating.
The game is great, it’s simple but challenging, in working to grow and expand your store you have to actually think about your income and expenses and all those little details. I think the graphics and gameplay are high quality plus the in game challenges and prizes feel like the work always pays off in some way. It is pretty time consuming but you could also do it while watching tv so if you want something going on with your hands and in the background this game is perfect for it; plus ordering groceries can take from 30 seconds to 15 minutes depending on what you’ve ordered. If you’re a person who can’t play games all day, this game gets so much faster when you’re not on it 24/7. My only qualm is when you partake in the month long challenges (lunar year; last month), you get prizes but sometimes they’re useless and you can’t throw them away, place them in storage, or sell them, which can cause some crowdedness. You do have to pay ($5 I think) to remove ads and I did that the second I realized the game was worth it, and there are some things you have to pay for to get more of (like the lighting strikes to speed up ordering time) but I feel like they’re pretty reasonable and affordable considering some other games are asking for $15-30 for the alike things.
This is the perfect time killer game, anytime I have free time I hop on and it’s also great if you’re an organize freak like me. But there are minor things that could be added I could see making this game have serious longevity with the fans. First, there needs to be some way of getting dollies to move more boxes at a time because I love that every box and item is it’s own moving part but if your a bulk buyer like me it can be kind of miserable to move hundreds of boxes one at a time. One time I bought a ton of stuff and came back like two days later, it took me a minimum of like 3-4 hours to organize all the boxes. Secondly, being able to hire a stocker. Maybe making it able to designate specific stock to certain shelves and the stocker can take any available boxes and stock the shelves. Lastly, some sort of management that can order a specific amount of inventory that you’d like to keep your store at. So if you want 50 of everything and you sell 5 of one item, 9 of another, and 11 of another the management will automatically buy back everything that was boughten. Oh and the time waiting for the inventory is kinda annoying, it should go by the quantity of inventory per buy, the time shouldn’t just go up because you have multiple things coming in. I order 1 item roughly 50-60 times and the timer still went up past ten minutes for just one item at a time, if it’s going to go up past ten minutes at least let it bring 10+ items at a time. I hope you seriously take my suggestions because I love you’re game and don’t want to get bored or tired of it anytime soon. Xoxo
I will say I haven’t been able to stop playing this game since I downloaded it, but I do have some opinions. There should be ways to earn the energy bolts(not sure what they’re actually called) other than ads or spending money. Having a cashier is helpful, but having to spend on them adds up. If I have to wait on deliveries, which is also frustrating, I can be getting more of those while I wait at least. There should also be someone to hire to stock shelves or the storage space, if there’s an item tag they can put them where they go. I always buy product, realistically speaking you have to buy a good bit at a time so you don’t have to keep waiting on deliveries, so it gets tedious having to wait for items AND stock one by one. All furniture and expansions need to be half the price it is. The licenses are already pricy, when you buy a food license you most likely need furniture with it. I still only have one storage shelf, I stack my boxes neatly on the floor but every time I come back to the game they’re everywhere. Either knocked down in the storage room, on top the shelf, or even up the street! I also shouldn’t have to use the energy bolts to get boxes thrown out, it needs to be free. PLEASE add an inventory feature on the computer, we should be able to see how much of any item we have without having to count boxes.
I hate being catfished by mobile game ads, we’ve all had it happen before. you get shown a segment or what you would assume is a mini game on an ad, you very obviously assume they’re accurately representing what the game play is like but unsurprisingly, a lot of games will advertise better looking versions or fake mini games. I really love simulator games and i’ve tried so many different super market and retail ones. I love the cashiering part but any other game i’ve found has either catfished me in the ad and then I download it and its a completely different game or I found it on the app store hoping it would be a good game and it was in fact not. I saw an ad for this and was like ok i’ll give it a go, and it was a shocking experience. for the first time in forever, the part that I was shown in a game ad was in fact in the game ON TOP of other segments of the game. I like the graphics a lot and how the gameplay feels. it’s really fun and i honestly can’t stop playing. it was especially a breath of fresh air that the gameplay of the checking out i was shown was a one for one of the game and not some better animated segment for an ad then the game having cheaper graphics. thank you for fulfilling my need for a GOOD supermarket/retail simulation game. there was a gap in an oversaturated market and you guys filled it.
Great game, but features need improvement! I really enjoy playing this game—it’s fun and engaging! However, the delivery times feel excessive, like waiting 15 minutes for just one box of chocolate. Waiting 2-3 minutes for 1 item or up to 5 minutes for multiples of 1 item (EX. 1 crate of apples or 3 crates of apples) seems reasonable, but waiting 6-7 hours—or even 9 hours, as I’ve experienced—for a larger orders makes it hard to stay engaged. The goal should be to keep us playing, not waiting so long for key items. A couple of feature suggestions: 1. It would be great if we could hire a stocker to help restock items and keep things running smoothly. 2. We need the ability to carry more than one box of items at a time to speed things up. 3. Adding a bonus when leveling up—like money or energy—would really enhance the experience and give players more incentive to keep progressing. Thanks for the great game, and I hope to see these changes in the future! I’ve also noticed a bug that’s pretty frustrating. I’ve been watching a lot of ads to speed up delivery times or get extra energy, but about 4 out of 10 times, I don’t actually receive the delivery boost or energy points. This is really frustrating because I’m willingly exchanging my time to watch these ads with the expectation of getting something in return, but it doesn’t always happen. This feels like a major issue that needs to be addressed—it’s especially discouraging to invest time into the game only to feel like I’m not getting what was promised. Fixing this would make the experience much smoother and more enjoyable!
I have to agree with the other reviewers. There’s a lot that needs to happen in this app for it to be better. You unlock the feature to hire employees, but the employees are basically incompetent. The cashier is painfully slow and the shelf stocker put items wherever he feels like it. We all know that if someone’s downloading a grocery store simulator, chances are high that they have a particular way that they’d like to set the store up. This kind of defeats the purpose when the stalker just puts whatever he wants wherever he wants. Plus, if you run out of an item, he just restocked with whatever you have on hand so customers are unable to get what they need because you can’t move the items he places without an empty box. This is a huge problem. In my opinion, you should be able to freely move items without a box. It does take way too long to get your items, and I’m disappointed to read in the reviews that you can’t go past level 50. Hopefully with time, they add more levels with more complexity. I’d like to see a wider variety of customers, as well as more of a variety in what they purchase. I paid $5 to remove ads. I couldn’t stand another day longer of so many ads. I also think that you should be able to watch an ad or use your perks to choose the item that arrives first based on need. The game has potential.
