- Fixed Pluto never unlocking.
- Added support for notched devices like newer iPhones.
- Various smaller bug fixes.
My Pocket Galaxy is a beautiful, educational, and oddly therapeutic sandbox game. It gives you the literal power of a god, allowing you to create solar systems from scratch. You can place stars, planets, and moons, and then watch the laws of physics take over as they begin to orbit, collide, and evolve.
The 3D graphics are stunning, providing a sense of scale that is truly humbling. What I love most is the 'experiment' aspect—you can see what happens if you crash a giant planet into a sun or change the gravity of a black hole. It’s a perfect blend of a scientific tool and a creative toy. Whether you want to build a stable, life-bearing system or just cause cosmic destruction, the game handles it with grace and scientific accuracy.
Realistic 3D gravity and physics engine
Dozens of celestial bodies: stars, planets, moons, and black holes
Built-in tutorial and step-by-step guides
In-game encyclopedia with astronomical facts
Start by placing a Star in the center of the workspace. Select a Planet and 'swipe' to give it initial velocity, setting it into orbit. Adjust the mass and composition of your objects to see how they affect the gravitational pull of the system.
Use the 'Tools' menu to spawn asteroids or black holes. You can observe how these high-mass objects disrupt stable orbits and eventually consume or destroy entire solar systems in a beautiful display of physics.
Yes, you can save multiple universes and return to them at any time to continue your experiments.
In the objects list menu please add an option to go to an object if double tap or button added so to go to objects immediately by name search. And please Add Neutron-Stars for a Star to be created before a Blackhole stage of a Moon with Extra extra Mass added and added. And please if Life gets Eradicated make a way to enable Life again to start so the planet is not forever Lifeless. And the smallest Mass Ice or Fire Comets should not Eradicate Life only any size with more Mass than the smallest Mass setting since those 2 object types in the game help Life in real-life not Destroy as Gold and Water still arrive on Earth in this manner of way and we are safe since small Mass is not dangerous towards Life only the more Massive objects. And the Orbit is kinda hard to set so can a circle be preset to circle around stars with a button push of a circle orbit option in the spin option setting area of the settings options. Awesome Game Thank you. Neutron Star Silver like the Element Mercury in normal color with tint options of like Blue, Gold, or any color with the metal type of look as a flameless Star looking like a liquid metal drip ball glowing the Blue or any color option would be an idea for Neutron-Stars in this Cool Game as I believe YaHuWaH made the Universe with HIS Son YaHuWShuWO for us to live in.
The game has some bugs and issues, but it is fun for a little while. Sometimes, after destroying all life on a few planets, the extinction event counter goes up to some random number that is like 8 digits. Also, every time a comet, meteor, satellite, or small celestial object hits a planet with life, it instantly wipes out all life on the planet. Also, it is incredibly limited. There is always a set path for life on a planet, and after advancing life to the space age once, it loses all the fun. And, when you get to the space age, some satellites appear and orbit the planet and then, it stays the same until an extinction event. I would hope that eventually, the game would have unique kinds of life, and that, after reaching the space age, they would start colonizing nearby planets, so uninhabitable could have life and later be terraformed. I hope that there will be some kind of uncontrollable A.I. that would take over some tiny details about your universe. I also hope that eventually, life could advance and build giant ships, and you could allow different inhabited planets’ ships to fight each other. I really hope this game will receive some major updates and become a sci-fi game where you control everything indirectly by creating and destroying celestial objects.
This game is truly amazing and well worth the money! However, there are a few suggestions I have. For one, can we eventually be able to see from the surface of a planet or moon? I know that it would be very hard from a programming standpoint, but it would make the game really popular. Secondly, please can there be a orbiting option? This would basically be a option, along with launching stellar objects, that would basically show a circle around the object, that circle would be the orbit. You would be able to adjust the distance your planet or moon orbited at. I just think it would make putting planets or moons into orbit so much easier. Lastly, please add different black hole sizes. For example, there would be small black holes, medium black holes, large black holes, super massive black holes, and ultra massive black holes. I think having different black hole sizes would be, for one, pretty cool. And two, it would make the game more realistic. And I think that the different sizes of black holes should have more or less pull depending on there size. All of these would make the game even more spectacular then it already is. I recommend this game to people who want a good mobile game for once.
Just wanted to say, nice job! I have a few suggestions though. One, is the ice planets. GAH!!! I’m a huge, enormous, gigantic, space nerd, and the ice planets are so not accurate. I mean it’s like they turn to ice if they’re outside the Goldilocks zone. But wouldn’t it need an ocean to have that much snow, and oceans are only possible in the Goldilocks zone, (or just outside of it, if it’s like mars) otherwise it would turn to rock, like mars (not that mars has NO ice at all. But still, please fix! Two, I’ve heard that Pluto has been having some problems, don’t know much about that, but it sounds annoying. (I haven’t gotten to it yet. Three, I think it would be cool to be able to get planet nine (although I guess we’re still not really sure if it’s actually real) but I still like the idea! Fourth, and most importantly: PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS AND RESPOND!!!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY, the game’s not going to get better if ya ignore all of the feedback! Thanks again for the great game!
This is exactly what I was looking for from a mobile app, it does need some improvements, unfortunately I can't play long before it gets buggy or crashes.. Main issues are placing a wormhole, satellite or a black hole, causes the game to become unresponsive. Or after so many collisions, no matter what the settings are set to try and lower like graphics, Ect... The planets will suddenly eradicate all life on every planet, no matter the distance from the star even without a star, all turn into a lava planet within seconds of spawning one. Also noticed that restarting a game for whatever reason, sometimes doesn’t work and either planets are still there, without names. I really want to see this app be updated soon so I can play the game I PAID for. but I look forward to seeing some improvements. Otherwise it's a simple game, crashing planets, play with gravity, great graphics, the collision of impacts it's well worth it. I really enjoy this game, every game has its cons and pros, once more updates release, it'll be the best!
I love the game and its mechanics it is an incredible game for people that love space. But there’s just a few things could you please fix the solar system rocky planets because when I want to terraform them and give them life they never gain life the only one that gains life is the moon. Another one is the fact that when you shoot an asteroid at a planet with life it wipes all life which I think is severely inaccurate. Another thing that I just think would be cool is that when an asteroid hits the surface of a planet it distorts the surface of where the asteroid collided and if it’s touching water the water will fill that impact area. Another thing is just simple for some reason no matter how large a rocky planet is the gas giants always end up swallowing the larger planet as long as it’s rocky. One more thing is that maybe you can make it that if you make a gas giant large enough it will turn into a brown dwarf and if you make the brown dwarf large enough it will turn into a star.
I downloaded My Pocket Galaxy while looking for a mobile experience similar to Universe Sandbox—and I was genuinely impressed. The simulation mechanics, planetary interactions, and life evolution systems are surprisingly deep for a mobile app. It’s a rare gem in the space sandbox genre that combines creativity, science, and intuitive controls in a way that’s both engaging and relaxing. However, the app hasn’t received any major updates in years. While the core experience is still solid, some UI glitches, occasional bugs, and limited features (like orbit control or more advanced life simulation) hold it back from reaching its full potential. It’s clear the foundation is here—what’s missing is ongoing development. This app could easily become a leading educational and creative tool in its category with continued support. I hope the developers revisit it, because there’s a passionate audience that would love to see it evolve.
Update to 4 stars due to some bugs: After playing for a few hours I have run into a few glitches and found a few features that need a change. Like others have said sometimes objects don’t move and have no pull even though it’s set to unlock. The scale of the black holes is all over the place. They were once big and now they are really small. At first I thought I forgot to slide the mass scale but it was all the way up. I wish the planet count wouldn’t reset to zero when placing a solar system. I wish you could zoom out more. You’re kinda limited to seeing half a solar system at most. Would be cool if you could zoom out to a level where you can see most of the objects on the board. Also, sometimes the texture reverts back to NES days where the lines are jagged and sharp instead of smooth and detailed. Closing out the app completely will fix this. Where are the supernovas? Quasars? Neutron Stars? And it would be cool if the planets that develop life would colonize other worlds and try to defend against all the bad things I do to their planet like send asteroids to wipe them out. This game has so much potential and I hope the devs use their imagination to make this a truly out of this world experience. This game is a ton of fun. A truly great physics engine. I highly recommend it.

If you had the power, how would you create the solar system? What planets or stars would you choose? How would you place them in orbit?
