Museum of Scrambled Art is a breath of fresh air in a sea of generic jigsaw apps. The hook here is the quality of the source material. Piecing together a high-resolution Van Gogh or Da Vinci feels significantly more rewarding than a stock photo of a puppy. It actually makes you appreciate the brushstrokes and the composition of the classics.
The educational snippets are the cherry on top. I walked away from a session not just feeling relaxed, but actually knowing more about the Italian Renaissance. The interface is unobtrusive, and the 'Edge Filter' is a godsend for the higher piece counts. It's a must-have for art history buffs or anyone looking for a truly zen puzzle experience.

Use the 'Edge Filter' to separate the border pieces first. Defining the frame of the masterpiece makes filling in the center much more manageable.
After completing a puzzle, tap the 'i' icon. This unlocks a detailed history of the artist and the techniques used in that specific painting.
Puzzles can be adjusted from a simple 20 pieces up to a challenging 500-piece grid.
A great, educational, challenging, and calming game. My only complaint is that there are some grammatical errors in the text, not enough to devalue the experience, but something that caught my eye and was a bit distracting. I also find the UI somewhat out of place compared to the rest of the game's aesthetic. Overall, really fun! I love art history, and I love to see games centered around it. I look forward to what other projects you have to offer.
I just started this game and absolutely love it. $4.99 for the full game and future updates is super reasonable and I will buy it asap. I’m looking forward to all this game has to offer.
If you love sliding puzzles and learning, this is for you :~}.
Could have been good even great. But without instructions and blocks that don’t respond … don’t even care about losing $5, the game is a bust. Waste of time. P.S. Had to put 1 star or they won’t print. Just sad.
Definitely one of the greats among puzzles. Very entertaining!
